Randomly, I have just realised that I have spelt my name wrong! Cecilia is the 'normal' spelling, but I've gone for Cecelia in my deed poll (cos I like to be different, and I'm a fan of the author Cecelia Ahern).

It will be my super-special 'all the veg that really needs eating before I go to Oxford for the weekend' curry!:D

:D excellent. when i know OH will be late, i cook mine and re-heat his in the microwave - curry, chillie, pasta, ect, not piza!!. it wastes some power i know, but i just can't eat as late as him.

Cecelia eh? perhaps a forum mod could change it here too? i've changed the spelling of my real life name (only a little), so that my initials match whether you shorten it or not. it's just a little thing, but makes me feel more complete in a funny sort of way.

    enjoy Oxford! :T

*sigh* I feel really low today - not depressed, not panicky, just low. Got my JSA confirmation letter, which is good, but when I called about LHA theres no timescale there yet, and my next lot of rent is due next week. I hate money, all it does is cause stress!!! Also, I can't work out exactly how much JSA is going to go in on Monday, with it being backdated, but having the 'waiting' days etc etc. There are things I simply HAVE to pay for, its all going out but nothing coming in!

Had a look round some charity shops yesterday for some clothes - not that I want loads, but I could do with a few more and really could do with a coat. But on the whole they are as expensive as the cheapest 'new' shops, and as far as coats go, I know beggars can't be choosers but they really aren't my style! I'm hoping to hang on a few weeks til I go to my parents/friends as the town has one of the biggest Primarks ever so if I can get one there that should help.

Done no 'jobseeking' today, too busy phoning all their pffices re LHA! Will tick the box by logging on to a few websites later.

Sorry, not my most interesting post to date:rolleyes::o

    Hi

If you have given the council all the info they need for your LHA then they have to make a payment within 14 days. Even if they haven't processed your claim they still have to give you an interim payment by the 14th day.. If it has been over the 14 days then pop to the HB office and ask for an interim payment.

It's not the best time of year to go looking for a coat, just as the weather's changed, the charity shops know that it will prompt people to look and, quite justifiably, put up their prices. I often find that charity shops are more expensive than ebay - have you had a look there?

Thats interesting to know. If I don't hear by Monday then I will do that. Yes, the paperwork was checked at the Job Centre with my JSA claim.

perhaps you could volunteer at a nice looking charity shop and get a staff discount!!

oh, and dont worry about not being 'interesting', i'm sure we dont check in here to be entertained. there are lots and lots of different reasons why we choose to spend our time on here, so really dont worry hun.
