Thanks Annie - there was a young chap behind me, smiling as my vouchers were going through I apologised for keeping him waiting and he said no probs, he was enjoying seeing someone saving money ! It was a good shop today, especially as my 2,500 points is worth £100 at MFI so effectively it was a free shop today for me !

My local Asda's seemed to have programmed something to their self scan tills. Spent approx £20, used 2 x 60p off coupons and 2 x £1.19 free butter coupons which I did buy after I put my money in something went on the screen and my change didn't come out. Member of staff had to type something in there and I saw on the screen a message along the lines of having exceeded coupon usage. The cashier said the same thing to me. Only then after she typed in a few buttons did I get my change.
I hardly used a large amount of coupons and I did buy the 2 butters so I was annoyed at this new thing they have programmed in the self scans. Guess I'd better stick to using 10% or less so I don't get a member of staff called over. Sigh...Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
Boots points: £0.28
Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)0 -

Has any one used any of the coupons in November's issue of the Sainsbury's Magazine in Tesco. I'm especially interested in the £5-off Gillian McKeith stuff as I'm not aware of Tesco stocking it.
TIA0 -
This evening was a good one.
Saved £4.10 using coupons, although I did buy 2 of the products, totalling £2.98.
Still a great saving though! I told the lady I had bought some products, and had coupons, but wondered if I could hand over some I hadn't bought them for. She said "sure, no problem, just hand over what you have""I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
Well done Charlene! :T

Yes, I used my first one of these last week and the cashier guy gasped out loud when it scanned for £5! He had a quick look at it again but seemed satisfied with it (and so was I)!
Another MSE poster has confirmed on the Magazine vouchers thread started by MBN (well worth a read BTW) that they have also been using these £5 ones in Tesco.
Just be ready, if a sharp-eyed cashier says 'but this is Sainsburys only' just look surprised and apologise that it must have got in the wrong coupon pile by accident (beliveable if you hand over quite a few different ones).
Tesco SHOULD only accept the '£x off £xx spend' Sainsburys vouchers but their tills don't know that!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Whats you total for the November cut off then? I'm up to about 11700 which is fantastic for me as last quarter I only got 4000
My total for this quarter was over 25,000 so I have done very well - that is another £1,000 towards MFI furniture for the new extension :T The cut off was last weekend so looking forward to receiving my vouchers
