£10 a week for entertainment for both of us, I feel its justified.
Totally agree, but you could look at a combined package with the phone and broadband.

Hiya gilligansyle, thankyou for popping in, (I managed to give my sister a present costing £5 but it looked so good. Called it an indulgence pack and it had a book, some fluffy socks, bath bubbles, bar of choc all in a wicker basket part of a set from Ikea. ) I like the idea of this, i have 1 sister to buy for, so i'm going to give that a go. i have baskets a couple of baskets. I have also Had this idea, what do you think. I have one very good friend, and we have had many good (and bad( times together. Sooo i thought of buying a nice plain photograph album, in a nice pastel colour, doing it up with some bows n buttons and things and putting in photographs of our fun days out, with comments to go with the pics ?

Saw your signature, very well done, you must be so proud of yourself

hiya Everyone. Just a word of support for anyone new today. This time last week, i was beside myself, i dint know where to go or where to turn, found this site and "hey presto" 7 days later, i feel 10% better. i still have my debts but have the whole week, sorting stuff out, making phone calls, on line banking, moving stuff around and talking to the fabolous people on here. Also reading other people posts and helping where i can.

So dont despare, there is a way out.

Pay rent or mortgage- somewhere to live
gas and electricity - so you can eat and be warm
food - so u can survive
council tax - so you dont get your futniture carted away or sent to prison
fines, so that you dont go to prison
secured debts - so u keep your home.

Everything else can be sorted out

I am nooooo expert at all, lots on here are though, this is just my new way of thinking for me.

I think this pst may get moved ? as Its becoming more of a diary now that a problem
Thankyou to all that have seen me through my week, still got 3 days to go till payday and have £23, easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Keep on trucking. You're off to a flying start. Keep up the good work. Not sure about the whole diary board thing - threads get moved there as and when I think - as you're still quite new maybe it'll stay here for a bit 'till you find your feet - although you seem to have settled in lots already. Keep us updated on your progress.

Hiya Dancingfairy, i didnt realize you were one of the move stuff around people lol. I fully intend to stay here. i would like to think and i could be of some small help to someone. I know how badly I even just wanted to know someone had read my post never mind replied to it. Just knowing that I was NOT the only sily billy on the plant was a huge help to me.

 Nope I'm not a move stuff around person - if only I had the power. Lol. :rotfl: It's the board guides who can do that -I think they are listed at the bottom of the board somewhere. Just see what happens and if they move you and you don't agree you can always send them (the board guides) a PM (personal mesage) and ask to come back.
I agree it's inspirational to see people go from despair to hope and hope that others will see your thread and feel inspired to seek help as well and tackle their debts.
