Just thought id share this
DH this morning tore off TWO pieces of kitchen roll, to wipe off a smear on the TV screen.Well i went on no end, he said I think you are taking this moneysaving a bit too far lol. I replied, ann extra piece of kitchen roll each time, means double the kitchen roll, do you realize thats about £20 a year, would you clean the TV with a £20note then toss it in the bin ?Back tracked and taking the other fork in the road, it has to lead to a better place than the other one did0 -

You are doing really well, well done!
Glad you liked the indulgence idea, the album is a good one. My sister did an album for me for my last big birthday, problem was there weren't very many pictures with me on. She did it using some sort of software on the computer, and sent it off to Apple so it probably wasn't cheap but I'm sure you could do something similar.
Thinks... one of my friends did a 'This is your life' book for a 21st once. Thats if you're old enough to remember this is your life.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Thanks gilli, im going to start on the indulgence gift set asap, ive got the basket. I have budgeted £200 for xmas presents. That is a big drop for me, but I'll try my best to get it as low as possible. I'm dead excited about looking around for what i think the person will like, instead of thinking about the price instead. If they want to spend £20+ on me thats fine, I hope they come to there senses next year. But I'm not putting myself in any more debt for them. Another idea Ive had, is wait for it. Three of my relatives like me, love there computer and playing games on them, soooo I thought I would get them each a flash drive, ive seen a good make in argos for £12.99 and I have quite a few "big Fish" games seek and find games and logic puzzles on my computer, so i am going to copy them on to the flash drives !!!, each game cost me about £4, so that be about £20 worth of games on there too. I am sooo on a roll i am just loving it.
