Hi Curvy Kate
I have some yoga pants which I bought from Grace by Tu at Sainsbury's and they are size 28 (Im only a 24 but like them really baggy!) and they look smart on but are incredibly comfy, I also have a pair from Rogers and Rogers at Matalan.. would something like that be any good as an alternative to jogging bottoms? *The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
I *wish* I'd found this thread Before I had to buy a suit. I've got an M&S one cotton/linen mix & very severe, which is what I needed. Next time, I want a wool suit in a seriously classic style with a mid calf to ankle (I'm short as well as rounded) skirt. I so hate clothes shopping, I may go OS & learn to sew, but suits need to be right....
Thankyou all for the links and comments!:beer:0 -
Has anybody looked in Evans lately?!
I check in regularly, but hadn't seen anything I liked in there for years - but suddenly they have a few tops I quite liked online and I've actually made an order.
If you like butterflies you'll be chuffed since buttrflies seem to be a big motif at Evans this season.
Knock me down with a feather!:j
I have just made an order with them!
Got some lovely sandals, a top and some socks (Using the 20% off plus another 20% off so I was well happy lol) xx So much for 'Money Saving'

Some nice items on here, think its something to do with La Redoute/Empire

1) it's interesting to see yet another JD william persona, the posh sister I suppose.
They sell the high-end lines, but still the same, it seems to me... you can never have too many sites and brands, I suppose...
2) looks like an ebay seller. Also they expect you to pay to send back faulty items, which I'm pretty sure is against some consumer law or another...
3) never found anything interesting on this specific site, but La Redoute and their sites are very difficult to buy from, IT glitches I think..
PS do I sound like a grumpy old lady LOL. Thank you for posting them quirk!0 -
Well that first link explains where some of the "posh" stuff on Crazy Clearance comes from then!
And for those of you who buy from Yours Clothing, they are also on Nectar now (not sure if this has been mentioned previously, couldn't see anything, so apologies if it has been!)DFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -

Bloomin' styles in Tesco, Peacocks and M & Co just aren't suitable for me they seem to be cut quite narrow. After spending time in the changing rooms getting fraught and frankly quite sweaty whilst staring at myself in the glaring unflattering light of the changing room I want to rip my own hair out. I have just ordered some bits from Yours Clothing .. fingers crossed. Bottom line is me and clothes just do not get on. I could lose weight in fact I have gained a bit over recent months but I do like to eat. Fed up of feeling miserable.
I've found it hard to find good jeans, too. Everything I try is usually tight in the thighs and loose on the waist, or it fits ok until I sit down, at which time the back of the jeans goes alarmingly low! All my jeans right now are from The Avenue in the US, which has a really good fit (though I still have to try on several pair to find something I like, but I always find something good there).
Last time I went to the States, though, we were only in an area with an Avenue for a bit and I foolishly didn't factor in plans to go back by it (the others with me didn't need to shop at The Avenue and I couldn't fess up to them that I really wanted 2 hours at least to try on clothes -- I told them an hour, and that's what they gave me!). It may not be much help as I certainly wouldn't order jeans online if I couldn't return them easily, but if you ever go to the States look up The Avenue. I will seriously make sure to factor that into the next trip.0 -
Another good place in the USA is Lane Bryant. I am currently wearing jeans from there, purchased on a recent trip, also good for other stuff especially bras/knickers, PJ's etc.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

I second that! Got a plunge bra, two unusual tops & a bracelet in there. Definitely worth a look if in USA.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
