Has anybody looked in Evans lately?!
Not since I spent £52 flipping quid in there on a tracksuit, then I found one in Matalan that I liked better for £20!!!*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

Had a really poo time over last two days trying to find some decent trousers that fit. I am a size 20 and have wide thighs and a long waist and long bottom! Bloomin' styles in Tesco, Peacocks and M & Co just aren't suitable for me they seem to be cut quite narrow. After spending time in the changing rooms getting fraught and frankly quite sweaty whilst staring at myself in the glaring unflattering light of the changing room I want to rip my own hair out. I have just ordered some bits from Yours Clothing .. fingers crossed. Bottom line is me and clothes just do not get on. I could lose weight in fact I have gained a bit over recent months but I do like to eat. Fed up of feeling miserable.Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they've faded. But trust me, in 20 years, you'll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked. You are not as fat as you imagine.0

Hello, I'm new to MSE and found this thread on Google search and wish to ask for some advice if you don't mind.
I am looking for some comfortable, good fitting jeans as I have a real problem finding them. I have tried Evans, Bon Prix etc but the problem is I have a very large tummy but *touch wood* my bum hasn't gone south yet so therefore I am an approx size 26 on bottom and size 30 on top and when I buy jeans that I can fasten over my tummy they then tend to start falling down during the day and I'm forever pulling them up. I cannot understand why, if its not too difficult to fasten them why this happens but it does
 M&S jeans - I cannot fasten
 Evans jeans - fall down
Bon Prix - way too small
 Yours - fall down
I am sick of doing the school run wearing jogging bottoms (size 22 from M&S and would like something to wear on the bottom that look better than jogging bottoms but are not proper dress trousers and its getting to the stage where I don't want to go out which is upsetting me. I know I need to lose weight but for the moment can anybody please advise me, I would be very happy if you could.
I need jeans in a small/medium length and that fit to the waist not those hip hugging things, bootcut would be good.0

Have you tried New Look, I've always liked the fit of their jeans and they are really reasonably priced.0

Thank you so much, I didn't know they sold Plus Size and they had lots of different jeans, have ordered a few for sizing etc. Love some of the other clothes too but don't know how big/small their sizing is for tops? Does anybody know?
Also, don't know if anybody is aware of this site, its part of the Ann Harvey group (I think), might be worth a look
oh, not allowed to post links so will try this

Hi Hun, Life is far too short for thinking like this, we are here for but a pinprick of time in the big picture. there are a few places, not enough granted, to get what you want and need. It will take time and a few pounds in postage(returns) but it will be worth it. Have you looked at the new Wow jeans from Fashion World? I have the other probem of a big bum and smaller waist/tummy. These jeans were no good for me but thinking back to the fit they could be just what you need. I would also look at the En Plus range at La redoute as they offer bottoms in different fits for different shapes, apples, pears etc. Both the above are available in different lengths too. Do not buy clothes on cheapness, if they are cheap and fit just OK- chances are you won't wear them as much as the more expensive jeans that fit might fit perfectly, so per wear they would be better value and probably last longer. There are the exceptions but the general rule is you get what you pay for, and you are after all worth it!!!! xxxxxxxx:o"I AM NOT SHOUTING"0
