Don't know if this is anyone's cup of tea, but this ebay seller came highly recommended to me: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Caroline-Ann-661?_rdc=1
She has some nice looking stuff, and plenty of colour choices.
So far, I've managed to resist though, as I can do a bit of sewing and could make myself, if only I wasn't so darned lazy!

I have the same problem, can't find anything to wear for the gym that is not acrylic and/or dark boring colours. I need cotton, decent quality and not the usual navy/black colours...

I've bought a few things from Caroline and been pleased with them. There is also no problem if something does not fit or suit. I sent an item back and was refunded without any quibble.

Does anyone know of reasonably priced polo tops? size 26/28 but with a polo neck that doesn't feel like you're being strangled. Would consider blokes too.

  • Someone mentioned Torrid, just found out that they have a special offer, for 50% off international shipping, on the website it says that it ends today.
Because of the time difference, if it ends at midnight their time, it should be valid until 8am UK time on tomorrow.

I finally cracked and ordered something from Caroline to wear at Xmas. It came today (took less than a week) and I'm really very pleased with it. She also emailed me and seems very pleasant. I'd definitely order from her again.

  • While I love Torrid to bits, I can't get round their insistence on a stat $50 charge for postage to the UK, especially when the last time I went on there, the items I ordered were so light, the $50 would have been way and above how much it cost to post them to the UK. (I didn't bother ordering them in the end ~ the postage was nearly twice what the items cost) I order t shirts from a geeky US website for my middle son, the postage is around $7; they are a realtively small site compared to Torrid ~ if they can do it, why not Torrid?
