Why is everything I like in 100% polyester which is so uncomfortable. Next/ New Look

There must be some brand names in 100% cotton???

    Anybody?
  • Lands End have a lot of cotton stuff, the proper thick cotton not like the paper thin one you often find (e.g. yours clothing and often Evans).
It's worth checking out Taking Shape as well.

I've found that Wrap and Poetry fashion (assume owned by same company as similar websites etc) offer a lot of natural materials like silk, satin, cotton etc. It does depend on your size though- one goes up to a 22 and the other 24. Expensive as well so buy in the great sales they have.
I agree with you as well, I hate polyester type materials and I'm sure this isn't a problem just related to plus sizes. I'm willing to pay more for quality materials.

Saw a facebook ad for a company called pinkclove - does anyone have any experience of them?

I've bought a couple of dresses and a skirt from them. Nice designs for a decent enough price. I think asos have started to sell their designs too.

Do you have a link? they website doesn't come up on google when I look for it for some reason.
Also what's their new collection like? When I checked out their new website the rand didn't look as good quality as the past one, lots of manmade fibres and dark colours, definitely moved to an older client base, inho, I'm no spring chicken but I like a bit of colour and nice prints too;)

PS found out why, it no longer has its own website, the old website takes you to bonmarche now. :(

This is indeed part of the wider Bon Marche umbrella now but seems to offer exactly what it did before. Found a dress for £35 (when they usually would be upwards of £70). Some of the lines have been taken away - swimwear, shoes, lingerie - but are still available at this website under different brands - and it doesn't seem to be such a large range of workwear. or choice but if you love Ann Harvey, at least you can purchase it again....

I have to say that their current collection looks like they've taken the most boring styles AH used to have and they just repeated those... Nothing exciting at all.
My wardrobe used to be 80% AH, I'd say for 10 years, and I still have quite a few tops in my wardrobe, sadly they'll soon have to go because I've gone down one size, but I don't think I'll be buying much from them... same old same old
I'm a Taking Shape fan now.. although finding something that fits is not that easy, their styles and sizing are a bit unreliable.
