I'm afraid unless it's eBay I refuse to pay return delivery costs, and simply won't use a company that charges them.

I also won't buy Next plus sizes because of their shoddy trick of opening credit accounts for people.

I do like deliver to store, I find it very convenient, though I think it's a bit unfair when shops charge for the service!

I saw a charge for the sticker and now I am wondering if I missed the tick box the first time around and paid for the sticker!

Both of these are common complaints, which are easily solved by reading what you're paying for. You can easily see that yours pre-charge a returns sticker thing upon checking out. And the question of next opening accounts is because people just don't read/check the screen. Sorry but both are very obvious upon going through the check out system, and it just comes down to humans not being stuffed to read things, hence why people still get caught by all the scams, "free" trials, and credit accounts.

I think the point about Next is that you CANNOT purchase online without them opening an account for you, rather than not seeing it. So it is not 'solved' because it leaves you unable to purchase.

The Yours returns thing is rubbish as it will say Free Returns all over it - but that's only if you are able to get to a collect plus store. Free returns don't usually come with quite such strict terms. You are buying unseen afterall. I don't think you should have to pay if the product doesn't meet the quality or whatever. In a shop you can look, feel or even try on. IMO all the are doing is putting potential customers off....
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

You also miss the point that I choose not to shop with these companies because I do NOT like their way of doing business/treating their customers, not because I'm too lazy to read their T&C's, but because I am one of those who knows about them, disagrees with them, and so I refuse to do business with them! :naughty:

Great time to be buying from Evans, they've added extra items with 30%, + a 20% discount code (+ 5.05% with top cash back). :j

(but there was very little I could find, because their stuff is getting worse and worse, just a skirt and top, but I'm still happy about the savings).

I've received my order for some samples @£1 each this morning. Looking forward to being able to wear skirts and dresses again
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

I agree with you. I went through a phase where I could purchase some really decent 'younger' style cothes from here. They seem to be reverting to much plainer, 'older' styles again now  I could never get jeans to fit from Evans either for some reason, they all just felt wrong!
I used to love Etam, was gutted when that went. Options seem to be becoming more limited. Also annoying that the bra sizes are not very good - thanks to a thread on Mumsnet helping people with badly fitting bras, I discovered I needed to go down in back size and up in cup size but getting a J cup is really hard work :(

Popped in Matalan today as I had time to kill and while there was very little in the Rogers & Rogers range just wanted to let you know they had some lightweight dark denim jeans reduced to £2.50 they only had sizes 26, 28 & 30 in my local store and unfortunately for me they were cut very large at least 1 maybe even 2 sizes larger than the label said so far too big for me. :(

Also had soft cotton twill jeans in a range of colours (inc. bright blue, navy, a sort of blue animal print, tan, pink) reduced to £5.50.

And soft, lightweight single button navy jackets for about a fiver I think it was.

I've just bought some plus sized tights from pamelamann.co.uk/.
Never used that site before (paypal is available), never tried their tights before, and I'm a bit dubious about the sizing of 20-26 as to whether up the top level of 26 if they're big enough.

But they seem to have quite a few pairs of patterned, and picture tights (comic book) as well as footless 120 den tights at what seems to be a decent price.

I usually hit yours clothing when they have nice ones reduced, but they only have plain boring ones currently, and need some more pairs so figure this place was worth a go. Will let people know when my order arrives.

Plus side is the postage is extremely decent, 1.80 for 4 pairs, and this might be a flat rate.
