What size would you suggest in the sloggis. I am usually size 24 on the bottom?

I honestly can't really be accurate about it. I have no idea now what size I am, because I can get into 22/24 jeans in some places, with others being 26 or 28 :rotfl: I hate trying to find jeans that fit everywhere.

What I did was order two sizes pairs, a 24 and a 26. In the end I kept both, as I can wear both, but the 24 wasn't tight, they're slightly stretchy too. So I'd suggest if you can locate 24's try those, or you could try 22 too with those, especially because you don't want them baggy, you want a close fit, like leggings should. (but not so tight that you end up with the lace cutting it off at the bottom) Incidentally, the lace on the edge worried me, as they're usually quite stiff, but no this was a soft lace.

I have comfort shorts bought from Evans years ago, they are quite good, but a bit warm!

I bought the £3 leggings from Primark, the largest size they do is meant to be several sizes smaller than I am but they're lovely and soft and stretchy, I just cut the legs to the length I wanted - they haven't frayed in the wash or rolled up. They also do some good "suck you in" control leggings too in capri and full length, (here on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-PRIMARK-CONTROL-SHAPER-SLIMMING-LEGGINGS-/110925039872?pt=UK_Women_s_Leggins&var=&hash=item19d3a5c900#ht_500wt_792) which aren't so forgiving on size, but can still fit in a size smaller. Much cheaper than all the other shops too.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

The leggings mentioned in post number 1733 are reduced in Primark. they are now £2. They had lots of colours including navy ,grey and brown.
The black are still full price £4.
