I am delighted for your win, momstheword, what a lovely treat - and one that is just for you, no-one can make you share your undies!

Well, my bra from Uplifted Lingerie arrived today! 2 weeks since I ordered it. I must say their 'customer service' is appalling and they didn't answer any of my emails or phone calls, but the item did eventually arrive, and it is fine - thank God! I can't imagine what a palaver it would be to return something, as they can't even respond to a simple enquiry.

  • Newleaf, I am so sorry about your experience. I shouldn't have linked to the site, but they did look like they had some great stuff. What a pain! I hope the bra works out ok.

Cheap winter coat here, very good, sizes are true,
  • Someone gave me this code, it worked for a couple of friends of mine but not for me, but hopefully it may work for some of you.
I don't know if it's because they paid by cc and I tried to pay by paypal.

BACKNEW £10 if you spend £25, until 1/10

It's a new customer code. Have tried a different email but it's not having it. I'm skipping the order as a result, so maybe their loss in the end. Had terrible service and very poor quality leggings from them before, so hadn't ordered since. The voucher was enough for me to gamble :o but certainly wouldn't buy any full price goods. I don't like their returns policy either, which puts me off. The disney t-shirts they do are good though.
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

The person who got it forwarded me the email, and it states 'You haven't ordered from us in a long time etc etc'
'£10 off your next order '

Maybe that's why it didn't work for me, but obviously they don't know what they are doing, if they send existing clients a code that they can't use....

I've always been happy with Yours customer service, and when I returned a coat they were very efficient.
I've noticed that they are getting a lot of neg feedback on their ebay account, mainly for poor customer service, and poor stock control.
Maybe they are a bit overwhelmed by the sales on ebay. Let's hope they don't go downhill....
  • Hi i hope someone can help on here! My sister is having a wedding next year and me and 2 others are being bridesmaids she wants us to have light blue maxi dresses to save on costs of proper bridesmaids dresses does anyone know any nice ones that are about? we are all plus size

It came up with a message for me saying 'for new customers only'. I haven't ordered since last Xmas!! :rotfl:Maybe they have too many customers now!

  • Hi all

Don't think I've posted in this thread before, so hope I don't go too far wrong.

I'm looking to buy a cashmere jumper and was wondering if anyone knew of any good, not outrageously priced places?

I'm allergic to wool and mohair, so can't wear anything with those in them.

I vary between size 18-20-22 depending on the manufacturer and style, and have been saving for a while for this investment so could go up to £120 if necessary (boots, & winter coats and jumpers - three things I never skimp on because it's better than hypothermia...)

A few years back I was lucky enough to find a really good cashmere jumper at Tesco - at the end of season sale in my size no less! IIRC, I got it for about £5! :rotfl: Not expecting anything like that good again, of course.

The sad thing is that the Tesco jumper is only just now wearing through after about five years, and yet the M&S cashmere jumpers I tried on the other day are about the same quality new as my old one is now.

Have been doing some googling and just found onestopplus.co.uk today, but from what I gather on this thread they may not be very good? And at any rate wherever possible I prefer to avoid joining credit agencies disguised as clothing stores.

    Any suggestions?

one stop plus belongs to the same group as la redoute.
one stop plus looks overpriced to me, la redoute has good sales.
Can't comment on their quality, I tried several times to place orders with la redoute and normally there is a problem with the site, prices change after you've placed the item in the basket, or they even lost the one order I managed to place....
One day I will succeed... :)
