I've had a couple of Gok Wan items and thought they were rubbish; dreadful shape, no support and gimmicky styling. Just goes to show how different we all are! Glad you are pleased with yours.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

Uplifted Lingerie saga continued ...
I phoned them today, four times. No-one was available from customer services. I left three messages which were not responded to. On the fourth attempt I asked the telephonist to cancel my order - which she said she didn't have the authority to do!
Their website make all kinds of promises about customer service, office open from 8am (a blatant lie) and 24 hour helpline, but they do not measure up and, sorry to say, I definitely do not recommend them.
Well, I don't know whether to laugh or cry! Today, despite me phoning and emailing on Friday to cancel my order, they have taken payment and shipped my bra! Almost a fortnight since I ordered it, and no replies to my numerous emails or phone calls.
I will never use this bunch of incompetents again. :mad:Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -

I was lucky enough to win a magazine comp where I got to pick 12 sets of lingerie for free from brastop.com , I got 6 different Curvy Kate tease me/thrill me sets. They are FAB, they give AMAZING clevage! The only thing is that if you are wearing a plain t-shirt they are not suitable because there's frills on the top but they give great support, I usually pick up my bra's when I'm getting my milk and bread in the supermarket and would never consider buying one from a lingerie store/website but it's converted me to actually pay the little bit extra - not that I will need any more sets for about three years after winning that prize! I thought that might be the case. When I was in London they were closing down the city centre branch and they have had a lot of sales on recently. Still not cheap though and the quality is not as good in recent years. Would still be sad to see them go.0 -

I have never had a Curvy Kate bra, I wonder how their sizing compares with the Fantasie brands?Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -

not surprised either, and saddened too, AH has been my staple for many years.
They have not been able to keep up with the competition.
I must say one of the biggest downfalls online is that they have the worse visual displays in the plus size industry, with mannequins that are too thin for the clothes, and in a twisted position. How can they expect people to buy clothes that all look like tents on a stick?
In my experience they have poor customer service and order fulfilment, and old fashion systems.
Hope they get themselves sorted, I love their clothes, and quality is very good, it would be a loss for plus size ladies.
PS: just spotted this: In December, Alexon was the first British retailer to issue a snow-related profits warning, claiming its elderly clientele had been snowed off the high street.
Their PR dept don't have a clue either...0 -

I don't know about other brands because this is the first time I got a PROPER brand! I'm so pleased with myself! I keep going up and looking in my drawer at the TWELVE BRAS wait for it.....WITH matching underwear! I've never had anything match in my life unless it was a coincidence that I happend to put on my primark black underwear with the tesco black bra:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I got the ivory & black, green & black, blue, and the plum colours which were a great size.
The black& ivory was a little small, even though it's the exact same as the others, so I would go up a size on them.
I also got a black and a red Kriss Line bikini that looked fab in the pictures - don't get them their horrible on! They look nothing like the pics!0
