Has anyone tried this site? Bras are my nightmare. I feel anxious just thinking about shopping for a new one!

Thanks for the link. I've just ordered something from them, I'll feed back on service when it arrives.

JD Williams catalogue do some wide-calf wellies in bright colours. Can't remember the calf sizes off hand but the web site will have them. They also do wide-calf winter boots, if you ever need them. Good luck.

    quite a good choice :)

Unimpressed so far, I'm afraid. My order has not even been dispatched yet, so I won't get it before the middle of next week at the earliest. At least they don't take the money until they dispatch.

Trust me, 48DD bangers NEED support & before I always bought wired bras, but when I tried these on in the shop, I was suprised to find that I did feel it supported enough. I love not having to worry about wires poking up into my armpits. Evans bras did that a lot! I can post a couple of pics tomorrow if you wanted to see what the fit was like.
Oh, and I haven't found a proper sports bra in my size, but have been wearing these to the gym & they've been fine (although I don't do anything too bouncy anyway!). Hope that helps.

Inspired from all this talk, I went to buy new bras, but I'm afraid of the most boring style...
I normally wear Triumph Doreen Cotton, I got a few on a sale a few years back and hadn't bought any since.
I've also bough myself a few cheaper ones, non-wired, £22 and 24 for two, from Naturally Close, with a 15% discount code (from Hot UK Deals). Last time I tried their bras they were really bad, not fitting and poor quality, but this was several years back. As you can return for free it's not a big problem if they don't fit.

They are not overly exciting, but they do the job.

does any one else here find that wearing tight trousers gives you a bad back?
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

My husband insists that wearing jeans gives him a bad back! In fact, he even calls it 'jeans back' when he's grumbling about it. If he wears other trousers it goes away, and returns when he puts his jeans on again. Go figure, as they say across the pond. :D

..for a second I thought you were a about to tell a rude joke... but noticed that you are a regular poster on MSE, rather than one of those time wasters we get every now and again... :rotfl:

    I never had that problem.
