Large Plus Size Clothing

My problem is that I'm a size 16/18 but very short. This means clothes don't fit well. So the waist area falls to my hips, which on me are my biggest area. The result is I have to buy size 22/24. I then find the top part is way too big and comes down far too low.
If anyone knows a company that sells petite clothes beyond a size 8 please let me know!:rotfl:0 -
M&S do a petite range inc sizes 16 & 18

Thank You. I find most of the supermarkets are a size or two smaller than they say, especially Tesco, plus not much in shops. Will look online though. Will also look at Very.0

hi guys,
Im looking for a bit of help finding a cocktail dress for my graduation ball in july. im looking for a fairly cheap dress and it would need to be a plus size. Does anyone have any sites i could check? My problems comes mostly from having a large bust which means that a lot of dresses dont fit. ive looked at next, m&s fraisers but dresses are either out of a students budget or dont have the right size.

ive had a we look on ebay but ive only just started looking. max budget is probably £60 ish though ideally below. Im not sure of size as ive put a lot of weight on and hoping to take some of in the 5 or so weeks ive got left (lost 8 pounds
) but probably a 20 / 22
i really like this kind of style http://www.isme.com/teatro-flower-mesh-prom-dress/817669775.prd?browseToken=/b/1655,4294958640/s/bestsellers,0/o/2

Get in to a TKMaxx if you've one nearby, best place for posh frocks at low prices. That's where we went when looking for formal clothes for our cruise. The sizes go up quite big, and you probably won't see anyone else wearing the same as you.
I got DD a lovely strapless dress, but since she was only 11 I added a couple of matching straps, just went to the fabric shop and asked them for something to match then sewed them in - the dress held itself up, I just don't like completely bare shoulders on young girls, always looks a bit weird to me, iyswim...
