i was just wondering if any of you have ordered tops from matalan before, i've never bought from there but have seen a top i really like in the plus size range and was wondering if their plus size range is usually true to size. i'm usually a size 24 top but can also be a 22 or a 26 depending on where i shop.
thanks in advance.
I've found Matalan to really vary in actual size - sometimes a 28 is too small and somtimes a 26 is too big..... trial and error I'm afraid. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

I agree that Matalan sizing is 'all over the place'. Im generally 22/24. I bought a lovely top size 24 - lovely, but a similar top in a size 26 was far too small will havta go back. Personally I would never buy from them online for that reason,

I have not had time to read all posts, but was wondering if anyone has purchased from a site called Curvissa?
Hi lilykim,
I've just bought from Curvissa for the first time, after someone mentioned them on here. I only bought 4 t-shirts but I'm very impressed. Good quality for the price and they fit really well. Will definitely be ordering again, got my eye on some jeans (though they're £45...eek!) and the purple frog tshirt

I had a nose at Curvissa, and I liked quite a few things, but I just don't need anything right now.Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0

Found a new site (to me anyway) "Curvy Looks" www.curvylooks.co.uk. There was a small ad in the back of this weeks Womans Weekly mag. Haven't heard of them before, went on the site and they do seem to have some nice styles. Has anyone heard of them?Growing old disgracefully!0

Has anybody seen any properly long maxi dresses anywhere? Or maxi skirts?
I need one for holiday but I want a fully ankle length one because I have cankles. (Always did - even as a child, and even as a size 8! )
I need a 40 inch skirt or a 56 / 57 inch dress. I keep seeing maxi skirts that are only about 33 and dresses that are 50 or 52 inches.
Thanks lovelies! :TNot everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0
