My son is getting married in the Aug/Sept, the wedding dress will be 'mediaeval/goth' I was thinking about getting something from HolyClothing - do you guys think this will be suitable for my size 28 top and size 32 hips? Can you make any suggestions?

Holyclothing have detailed measurements for their clothing, as far as I know they are fairly reliable. Their sizing isn't though, but as long as you check the measurements you'll be fine.
    Lovely idea!!!!
  • Buy 1 get one 1/2 price jeans at new look.

Their jeans start at 11.99, with the discount you can have two pairs for £18!

Used to buy a lot of new look jeans but recently been a lot of problems with zips breaking (and they weren't too tight)
  • you need to be careful about custom duties, and also couriers fees, some people, including myself have posted about ending up paying a lot more money than they thought for their holyclothing order!

Hi, I've had about 20 parcels from them over the years and never had any of the problems mentioned above so maybe it's just luck. Incidentally it's worth having a look at lengths in particular as they are lovely and long (if like me you're 5' 9" ) but they may swamp you if you're on the diminutive side x :)

Lately, I've been buying a fair bit of stuff from TK Maxx online, which is good as I only get the chance to go to the mainland a few times a year. Most of my work trousers are the B S Label and tops are Ecologie :) I was lucky to find a 3/4 length trench jacket the last time I was away for £17, so very pleased with that find.

I find that sleeves are never long enough for me and tops can be too short length wise in the body - but then I am 5' 11" and a size 22/24 :undecided

I've ordered quite a few items from HC since being introduced to them by this very thread. (:T)
I have found that all my Fed Ex parcels attracted extra fees for customs and handling, (which are billed to you separately and at a later date) but all those sent by ordinary Mail did not. I'm prepared to accept that this may just be a stroke of luck, but it does seem too much of a coincidence.
I've also noticed that HC seem to significantly understate the value of the goods on the invoice, which can work to your advantage.

Same here, I thought it was just a coincidence, but 1 out of 3 orders was Fed Ex and it was the one I had to pay duties on.
It was only for 50-odd quid, one of the others was more than that.
  • Hello, looking for some more advice if you don't mind.

I'm wanting some basic t-shirts, longline (longer length), don't mind if they are the same t-shirt but in different colours but I am having real problems finding some. Need size 30-32, there is none on Evans (where i have previously bought some), Yours have some but are always out of stock in my size, Ann Harvey are too short, just come to my waist, have tried the new range at Curvessia (I think its called) but no basic t-shirts at a reasonable price. Can't find my size on M&S, Tesco, Asda etc so am at a loss where to look.......

If anybody has any suggestions I'd love to hear them. thank you

Might not be quite what you looking for but Matalan have some hanky hem tee shirts for £6 that look longer in their Rogers & Rogers range.
