Hugs Toots, sorry to hear you've been struggling this week xx
Well, I've bathed and am off to me bed. Got to do more unpacking tomorrow and try to keep the place tidy as we have a flat inspection on monday.
Also, I must do my knitting a lot this week - i'm making a cushion cover as a wedding present for some friends of ours who are getting married on Saturday and I've nearly finished the first half, would be nice to get it nearly done, if not completely done, in time for the wedding! Please everyone, shout at me every day to make me do it!
Night night all, sweet dreams xx"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Morning ladies!
SarahShattered -Sorry I missed your birthday.. I check the forums list usually but must have missed it.
Hope you had a fabulous day anyway honey, and the cake is obviously calorie free!
Mudbath - huge healing vibes for your son as usual.
Toots - gentle loving hugs. You are such a special person.
rosepink - great to have you back and happy to report all but 3 of my lavender babies are growing and thriving! Glad you had a great holiday.
triker and toots - I have realised too after being ill for 5 yrs that a lot of people just let themselves drift out of your life. I was counting how many people would turn up to my funeral the other day and I doubt it would be as many as it would have been 6 yrs ago, especially since my family have disowned me. Still, as my OH said, he won't have to spend much on the buffet afterwards...:rotfl:
So my lists today are:
Feed the cat at least twice
Brush the cat
Sort and delete 10 emails
reply to emails
Clean bathroom sink
Spray bleach on the bottoms of the shower curtains
Email R
Fill WM and put onExtras
Put breadmaker on
Harvest the rest of the peppers and chillis
Work out all the plugs and what they are for under the desk
Sort through small plant pots
Move plants from cracked pots to new onesfinish researching dual fuel tariffs online
find batteries for camera
Download pics from camera
sort through receipts for GCSome sad news: Stephen Gately from Boyzone passed away last night - He was only 33. Rather beautiful song from him HEREwarm gentleto all who need or want them.
Diva.xTo be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough. If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.0 -

that comment rings true about the friends drifting away when you're ill - DD1 has been ill for 4 years now - number of friends keeping in touch can now be counted on one hand!
sad for any age - doubly sad for a previously bubbly teenager - all mates who keep in touch now away at Uni.........
so sad about Steven Gately - and 33 is no age at all!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Morning lovelies!
Welcome back Rosepink I missed you and LOL @ the hair dyeps. finish the cushion x
soappie Good News about the move, enjoy cooking for one x
Rach nice purse and yay about the hossy visit x
crafty I've just gasped at the sad news, will check out Digital Spy and get the gen, poor fella.
Talking about haircuts, last night I decided to go and have mine done at some point very soon, I hate the hairdressers and haven't been for about 2 yrs but I need to go now, I'm gonna be radical, at the moment it's half way down my back, super frizzy  and about 5 inches thick, I'm gonna get THIS :D:j:T I figured with my job going short will be the best thing, I look so old having it tied up in a bun thing....it's about £12 a cut & blow I thought that was expensive :rotfl:
Not much flying to report but it aint the end of the world, kitchen is ok and everywhere else is tidy-ish so I'm not gonna sweat it. Off out with DD1 today window shopping in Sunderland and to return an item at NEXT and a GD visit oooh and we're having brekkie at McDonalds.0 -
Morning all
I think I may have to seek out a medic today. I had an itchy eye yesterday afternoon and it felt as though there was something in it. It steadily reddened up and then the other eye came out in sympathy. I ended up going to bed just after 10 last night because they were bothering me so much.
This morning I've woken up and it looks like I've done a couple of rounds with Mike Tyson. One eyelid is really, really swollen and the slight bag underneath is a whole carousel full of suitcases from a fully booked A30 air bus. They're slightly sticky but the conjunctiva aren't so red today so I'm thinking it's allergy rather than an infection. There was a lot of dust and stuff about yesterday.
I'll have a couple of cups of tea and, if it's no better, will call NHS Direct. I know the local hospital has an appointment surgery on a Sunday. I wish it was sunny instead of grey though - I really want to wear sunglasses rather than scare the horses and small children .....
It's also hampering my vision a little bit so driving is going to be fun!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
