Evening all! It's the weekend :j and I survuved the class trip - just
I am being very naughty and eating a takeaway curry at the moment :o but it is yummy :D

    penguin - Happy Birthday!

Diva - hope the funeral went ok

rach - glad the hospital was positive. Have you checked with DH about the 24th?

Triker - glad you're feeling positive

greenbee - great choice of hymn and poem; interesting that they are both Confederate! My dad would love both of these. Glad you're back safely but a big  for your boss

I have had an Indesit washing machine for nearly 11 years and have never had anything wrong with it. Bear in mind though that I don't do as much washing as those of you with children!

Thanks! Glad you're enjoying your takeaway - you're allowed the occasional treat you know!

This is another poem that I love:

    A Live Well Lived

Some people just can't help making
    A difference in our lives.
By simply being who they are,
They make the world a little brighter,
    A little warmer,
    A little gentler,
And when they're gone we realise
How lucky we are to have known them.

I think this is probably how most flyladies feel about toots when she disappears off to hospital... :o

ETA ... and I like 'Morning has broken' as a hymn too... !
  • Just a quick post from me to send massive hugs, healing vibes and .loads of love to Mudbath and her DS - as the others have said - look after yourself honey - EAT!!!!!!

Aarrgghh!! That has to be my least favourite hymn ever!!!!!

I like Abide With Me - we sang it at my brother's funeral (my choice)

I have heard from a couple of people about meeting somewhere in London on the 24th - anyone else interested? All welcome!

And now I need some sleep as I have a bit of a headache

I don't mean as sung by 200 primary school children... I mean sung properly!

Could well be... once I work out what the date is now and when the 24th is and what else I might be supposed to be doing... :o
nd now I need some sleep as I have a bit of a headache
Isn't that an occupational hazard of working with children! Hope you feel better in the morning.

Right... I must go to bed, as otherwise I'm just going to prolong the jet lag! I need to get up tomorrow morning.

Toots - I've got lots more bits & pieces that I won't post on here, but if you're interested I'll email them to you.
