    I'm gonna get THIS :eek::D:j:T .
That's pretty much what mine's like - it's easy to maintain (wash, wave hairdryer over it, bung in wax if you're feeling energetic). Although mine is currently orange :D ... why is it that she ALWAYS copies my haircut though? Every time I do something different, she has the same thing a couple of weeks later
Grateful – that surgery set-up sounds crazy. I do have concerns about all and sundry having access to patient records, but out of hours docs must be able to access them.

Sadly its to do with the IT systems and the way that they were developed - all GP surgeries were allowed to select their own systems, and no standards were put in place to allow inter-operability. It seems crazy now, but you also have to remember that some notes are still kept in writing - GPs have the option to keep them either electronically or on hard copy, so unless you have both then you don't have the full story.

As for the out of hours GPs needing minders when they're travelling, they usually have a driver as it allows them to make calls/check paperwork while they're travelling. I don't know if they now have email access in the cars, but they used to have fax machines, mobile phones and a radio system.

Wilf - I'm not surprised you're proud of your DS! Not only is he doing well at his golf but he comes across really well in the interview (as do you!), so he's all set for stardom!

Soappie - take the tablets for a couple of days (but if they're non-drowsy you might want some different ones for night or they'll keep you awake!) and hopefully they'll make a difference. Some eyewash might help too, just to clear the gunk out.

Toots - stop thinking that there won't be many people at your funeral... what about all of us?! :p

I've done nothing today but read and go for a massage. I suppose its a bit early to go back to bed... maybe I'll find a DVD to watch. I know I should go for a walk but really don't feel like it!
  • well done to Miss A - thats brilliant:T:T:T

Got every right to be proud wilf55, well done to him & thanks for sharing! Bet it costs you a few ££ keeping up with what he needs to compete. He seems like a very mature 13 year old.
AnWsMum another proud Mum :) well done Miss A!!!
poohbear you could always phone to ask first :) well phone to let them know they have no clothes left anyway.
soappie what is the chemical name off the prescription/meds?.....because most are made by the same company just there is a few different antih's (I used to work in a pharmacy) that is all you need to look for on the back of the box when looking for cheaper ones. Meds it's like going to M&S for flour if the same mill makes Smart Price, Value and Sainsbury's own....it's all the same stuff different boxes, no point lining fat cats pockets. Going for a non non drowsy one at night would be a good idea, non drowsy versions have caffeine or similar in.
sexymouse (((hugs))) ask to be graded by someone else, that is so unfair!
LG I agree with you, tell him to be quiet :D

Well we're back, exhausted niece & nephew dropped off, they seem to have had a great time. 4 of them together wasn't as bad as I thought, but still tiring, I ache everywhere :rotfl: way too much energy between them all. My DS2 was getting ever so jealous when little nephew needed me, wanting to be carried about in the pool when he's nearly as big as me.

Put a washer load in, tidied DPs mess up in kitchen & slumped here :rotfl: I definately need a shower tonight as my hair feels vile from the chlorine and pool showers were too chilly to stay in for long, brrrr!! Need to fill TD, then another few washer loads in if I can, if not they will go in tomorrow. Might unpack a couple of boxes if I can move enough tonight :o seeing as DPs gone to work....not that he's unpacked anything but a box of DVDs and games since we moved (not unusual he didn't pack any either)

I need to make a list of what meetings/appointments we have next week and a list of what I MUST do, then see what else I can fit in. Want to get this house sorted by X**s.....suppose that is something else I need to save/plan for.....I have nothing saved because of the move and no idea what anyone wants/needs.....

Oh before I forget Matthew is 2 today :D:D:D:D:D were times when I thought I wouldn't be able to say that! He's away with his Mum and Dad in the caravan, I am going over to see him tomorrow when they get home.
One day I might be more organised...........
