I spoke to him just before he went on holiday. He needs to bring out a machine called a vactor next - it can cut through roots and jet. It is booked for the week after next. If that does not work then next step is digging up the road but that is costly and requires road closure notices so won't be anytime soon! Let's hope the new machine works. I am less worried now as we have our water butts in place and can empty them with a hose when they are full (had to do that this week already) so we can remain blocked off from the system and thus the flooding. It is by no way ideal and the whole thing is so time consuming but each thing they do is a step towards the problem being found and ultimately fixed (in therory anyhow). The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Thanks Jinks but I think I'll get the one named on the script but thanks for the thought (I'm a bit funny when it comes to drugs...... I'd rather take those recommended by the Dr than any other)http://www.itv.com/granada/ishaydnthenexttiger35433/

soappie what is the chemical name off the prescription/meds.....because most are made by the same company just there is a few different antih's (I used to work in a pharmacy) that is all you need to look for on the back of the box when looking for cheaper ones.
I looked it up before I went to Asda and got the cheaper over the counter one (Benadryl). But I feel blurghhhh so won't take anymore. I never good with drugs - (apart from nicotine and alcohol!) because I so rarely take them.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I'm so bored I've just cleaned the kitchen - including the oven!
Still bored.
I've finished my book. DH is watching MotoGP but I think that might be finished in half an hour so perhaps I could watch a bit of television then. It's been on since 10.30 this morning......
Listening to Paul O'Grady atm. He does make me laugh.0 -
Hi Guys
I am on normal shifts this week and will be back to serious flying as i have done nothing for the past few weeks.
I have nothing in the living room now apart from a little chair a bean bag and my laptop. The TV is still here till DH goes to work then that is being moved into the kitchen.
I am going to work to my own list this week it goes like this
Monday
Living Room
Tuesday
Conservatory and Kitchen
Wed
Bathroom
Thursday
Jakes Rom
Friday
Our Room
Sat & Sun
Going to Norfolk Yeah
In between that i am kids taxi, pot bottle and plate washer, cook, laundry collecter cleaner and putterawayer and Trainee Dispenser. (The latter the only one i get paid for)
Hugs to all who need them and well done for everyone who has done well especially Miss A and Master W and Haydn.
I have not caught up but i gather we were talking funeral Hyms.
How Great Thou Art was played at my Grandfathers and Fathers funeral and is a beautiful song but Morning has Broken which i think Greenbee mentioned is also a nice one.
When my friend died she had a cremation and she had a reed coffin it looked like whicker and was very beautiful and not a bit traditional. Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0 -
Yes Mum.
I'll rest up now for a couple of hours. We've done three car trips today with stuff for the new flat so their old room is becoming quite spacious again! I shall now go at put my feet up in front of the TV and chill - whilst the roast cooks

Diphenhydramine, one of the worst for making you drowsy but second/third tablet you probably wouldn't feel quite so effected by the drowsy feeling and they do work better than the non drowsy other meds usually, with Benadryl you will get much quicker relief. Claritin (loratadine) is a less drowsy one but you won't get as quick relief - this is the type usually available cheaply (about £1) in Lidl etc
Best go do washer/td switchOne day I might be more organised...........
