hello everyone
another reasonable day here so going to put a wee washing out after thisMoney_saving_Diva wrote: »triker and toots - I have realised too after being ill for 5 yrs that a lot of people just let themselves drift out of your life. I was counting how many people would turn up to my funeral the other day and I doubt it would be as many as it would have been 6 yrs ago, especially since my family have disowned me. Still, as my OH said, he won't have to spend much on the buffet afterwards...:rotfl:

Wilf you must be so proud of Haydn - what a nice young man! hehe! I can imagine him cringing though when being fawned over. You have put such a lot of effort in driving him all over the place, so well done to you as well.

sexy hugs, and wot valli said also. Record it and contact the union. This is definitely something they need to look at, and as valli said, if they are going to give you negative feedback, they need to make and share a record or it is meaningless. Union! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

Sexymouse - I am concerned you are being set up for a fall here, please contact your union and keep a record. To give you an observation and then refuse to give you written feedback is unprofessional; if there is an 'improvement' you will have no record and 'inadequate' is not an accepted grading as far as I know - should be unsatisfactory/satisafactory/good/very good/outstanding.
You should be given action points - not 'that was no good; we'll do it again in two weeks...'
I agree - never heard of inadequate before - we'd always used the gradings you mentioned in my last school as they are the ones used by ofsted. The observation is not going on record and I think they think they are doing me a favour by giving me another chance. I've told my colleague who helps with the planning all of the feedback they've given verbally. Even in my teaching placements when I was training though, I never had anything less than good overall, and if the lesson were that bad, then surely my experience TA would've picked up on it too? Apparently the guy who was on the PGCE with me who left at the end of the summer term to go to a lovely school, had similar problems with this female deputy, who hasn't got a diplomatic bone in her body either. However, he'd finished his NQT year when they started, so wasn't so vulnerable. My colleagues think that it is not in their best interests to fail me, as it looks bad for the school, particularly as they are due an Ofsted, which is why I've apparently been brought in, so I think they'll just make do with making it as difficult as possible for me instead.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
