Do you mean Jaeger? If so thats a great find. xx

Yes it's Jaeger. You know, when I wrote that I knew it didn't look right, couldn't work out why :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I obviously hadn't had enough caffeine :D. It's odd as I used to walk past the Jaeger shop as a child and see all the well to do people in there and wondered if I'd ever be able to afford anything from there.... Well now I can ;)
  • A few years ago I had my best 'giddy' morning at a car boot.
Went to one stall and saw an oil painting (sadly damaged) by Bernardo Hay for £2. Then turned on to the next row of cars and second one along picked up an ink work study by an Irish artist for £1.50 ... and this was late in the morning.
Got about £450 each for them.

There is a new charity shop in town, I was quite excited when it opened at the weekend, but in a bit of a rush, forgot they wouldn't have the card machine up and running yet, so settled with just a book on making and mending clothes for £1.50..There were a lot of other lovely things too, but I am saving it for another day..
In one of the others, I found a lovely mustard beret for £2, and a faux fur leopard print hat for £3, and a couple of strings of mustard / orange beads 50p each :)

Got a lovely mac from local charity shop, Dannimac made for Harrods, greeny grey, nice and long, lovely cut with removable linning, really posh!! for £1!!!! still can't believe it. It had a small mark on the front which came out easily on a 30 degree wash. Bargain.

  • 2 pairs of Roland Cartier shoes and a David Jones shoulder bag.

Green shoes £5, sandals £6 and bag £3.

Got some lovely buttons today from Textile Garden to replace the boring ones on some recent bargains. And although not strictly a boot or chazza purchase I have just bought a sewing machine. I sold my old one to a friend and I really regretted it. I just can't manage without one! I want to hunt down vintage clothes with great fabric and remake them. I am buying dress patterns now from the US site Sewing Patterns as their prices are so cheap compared to UK, especially Vogue patts.

I am a huge fan or charity shops & car boot.
I went to my first car boot sale this year and I loved it. Went back few times after since and now it's closed until next year. Think the best items I got were 3 pairs of brand new Camper shoes. The guy bought a box full of them in auction (or so he told me) and was selling £15 a pair. A couple of hrs later I went past his pitch again and he didn't sell any, so I bargained him down and got 3 pairs for £21! Sold them all on ebay for about £200 in total so I was chuffed! I should have bought more! Other good stuff I got from car boot sale/ chazza:
ipod nano (1st gen) in exc working cond £8 (bf keeping).
    Topshop leather Bag £2
M&S Black Metal Rapid Boil Kettle in box £2
    Diesel Mens fine-knitted jumper 20p
Topshop Star pattern Tulip Tube dress (seen on Misha Barton) £6
Laura by Toptop Frilly Top £2.50
All Saints Mens fine-knit Jumper £4.50
    Patrick Cox Handbag £6
    Diesel Cuddy Jeans £5
    2 x Estee Lauder Face moisturizer £7

These are the ones that I can remember as I have kept them for myself. I have sold a lot of my finds on ebay too but it doesn't always make as money as i would think though!
