This is my first post on MSE, but I have been lurking for a while!
I'm a bootsale and charity shop-a-holic. I wanted to post a picture of my best find, but I cant because I'm new. It's a Chanel chain belt which I bought in a charity shop recently for 50 pence (!) I'm currently watching the same one on ebay and its at £77!
Edit: The one listed on ebay just sold at £159.82 !!!!0 -

Never heard of a Trunki, notlongnow (not having kids I suppose I wouldn't) but just Googled it and I think I'd like one myself - I travel light!
Penny Farthing, you're getting so excellent bargains lately. The whale is cute. Those blue grey shoes look very cool and comfy. Never quite believe how people can afford to donate such quality stuff (but I'm very glad they do).
It's the Thursday car boot and a jumble sale tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for nice booting weather and hopefully I'llbe posting any bargains on the blog tomorrow!
LOL Ive not got visions of an adult zooming around on a bright pink Trunki!!LOL.
Also bought a salmony pink colour old fashioned telephone from a charity shop.(It was priced at £4 but took £3.62 as it was all I had..lol). It is push button(to look like a dial) but has a proper handset and its really nice. But as I dont use the house phone and it wont fit on the little ledge my home phone is on, I think ill sell it.
Also got reserved a VERY HEAVY solid wood sideboard made by a very expensive Danish brand in a house clearance shop I regularly buy from.
I NEED to get it in my house ASAP (hopefully tommorow) as we have agreed a price of £50 including delivery and I have just googled the brand and a very similar design is currently selling new for £1,500!!!!
I desperately need to pay for it and get it here before he realises what its worth.May £10 a day challenge£19.61/£310Ebay challenge...£12.61/£2000 -

Thanks, Vicky! The great thing about buying stuff for less than £1 means you're not precious about getting the scissors out.
The rain's scuppered my boot sale plans this morning but perhaps I'll snaffle some bargains from today's jumble sale.
Notlongnow - Well done on the sideboard:T. Hope you get hold of it soon.
I had one in my last house (a wedding present from some friend's parents in the early 1960's) which I spray painted and left as a housewarming gift to the girl who bought the house off us as she loved it.0 -
Have been to the chazza shop and cos I love to read....picked up Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix (chuffed as it's first edition) for 2 quid each....both in a bit bad state, both the spines are sun damaged so am not happy with that. But as they're for reading it's ok. Also got a book about the magic of HP for a pound** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.
