Wheeeeeeee....:j another nice find in a chazza shop today, (doing really well this week!)
Pair of BNWOT brown suede killer heel shoes with a little platform, £3.00. Been dying for a pair of high heels but couldn't justify paying a 'proper' shop price as probably will be wearing 'em for 'show' rather than proper walking
I just love finding something brand new for a silly price that I like/can use and it's great to be able to share on this thread. Love hearing about everyone else's finds too :T0 -
Not a bad haul from the jumble sale today. Sadly the local paper printed the wrong date so not many punters (still all the better for us!).

Hi everyone (sneaks in through the door) .... been lurking a while and inspired by you all I thought I'd pop into our local charity shops this morning to see what I could find.
I have browsed before but not really bought much (except kids fancy dress stuff and the odd piece of clothing for me) but after reading all your posts, I'm a reborn charity shopper! lol
We're fairly lucky in our little town, we have 7 in total so plenty to look through :T. I took my time (usually a hurried experience trying to find 1970s fancy dress outfits or something ), lingered, browsed and didn't find much lol. I did get a Gionni handbag though for £3 (retail at approx £20-£30 :j) and a top from Marks for £3 to keep me going while I lose weight. Had a quick look on the net and a similar one is £24.99 so I did well there too
.
I did see a few other bits but since I don't have an Ebay account and I am only buying for me or the family, I left them for another savvy shopper.
MIL and FIL are on their way down today for the weekend and they love car boots, as do I, so I'll drag them along to our big Saturday one tomorrow. Might even find one on Sunday if the weather is good. Again, regularly go to car boots, and again usually a hurried look around but i'm going to have my eyes wide open this time:rotfl:.
Off for a tidy up and then I'm going to go back and read some of the old thread ...... looking forward to reading about all your finds and hopefully I'll have a few of my own to tell you about tomorrow.

I NEED to get it in my house ASAP (hopefully tommorow) as we have agreed a price of £50 including delivery and I have just googled the brand and a very similar design is currently selling new for £1,500!!!!
I desperately need to pay for it and get it here before he realises what its worth.
Well I am now the proud owner of a Skovby sideboard, solid thick wood and VERY heavy, and immaculate condition.
Found it hard to find prices on the net...just very impressive websites with no prices on, which is a dead givaway its expensive..lol.
If one Skovby dining chair costs £249.00 ex VAT then I think you can imagine the cost of my sideboard.
VERY happy especially as it has cost me only 50 quid inc delivery.May £10 a day challenge£19.61/£310Ebay challenge...£12.61/£2000 -

Welcome to the the thread, jtb2412 - we eagerly await being updated with any finds you make over the weekend. Reading the thread cheers me up when I haven't been anywhere myself, I love to hear of other people getting bargains!
Had a quick whizz around the chazzas in town today. We used to have 15 in our town but this has dwindled to 7.
At the Salvation Army I found a vintage "Pall Mall" 1960's burgundy and black pure wool Mod cardi in perfect condition for £1.25. BF loves it. Also got 7 books at 20p each including Gabriel Garcia Marquez's "One Hundred Years of Solitude", a 1963 edition of Nell Dunn's "Up The Junction" (one of my all time favourites!) and a 1970's book about making your own herbal skin care and cosmetics.
The local hospice shop had a brand new Moulton Brown sealed, full-size facial wash for 35p and some unopened incense sticks from Mysore for 50p.
There's quite a few jumble sales on this weekend so I'm hoping to find some goodies there.
Notlongnow - happy new sideboard!!!!!0 -

It was from a house clearance shop. It is piled from floor to ceiling with stuff just thrown in, and has a chair mountain in the back room! Health and safety would have a great time in there..lol. Ive had some nice items from there because im willing to go digging in the stuff..lol. He starts out at some rediculous price, gives it the same speil about how cheap it is and then I offer him much less than he wants, and he accepts. Might tell him what he sold me next time I go in..lol.May £10 a day challenge£19.61/£310Ebay challenge...£12.61/£2000 -
I spent this afternoon rummaging through the charity shops in a nearby town in the rain, but it was so worth it!
I picked up a genuine Gucci bag in the Gucci dust bag with the care card inside in a 50p bin !! The lady at the til had no idea what it was and seemed surprised that there was a bag to keep the bag in! After finding the Chanel belt I didnt think I would be so lucky againTo top it off, its in mint condition.
I also picked up a stunning vintage brown leather Russell & Bromley bag for £5.
A pair of Clarks brushed leather boots for £4.99 which dont look like they've seen a days wear.
A vintage gold mesh belt £2.50.
A leather bag, which has the Mulberry logo on the outside metal catch, but no lables inside so i think its fake? £3.99
Very happyWish I could add pictures though. Any ideas when I will be allowed?
Edit: The Mulberry bag is as I thought, a fake.0
