Haven't been on pc for a while - these were my finds a few weeks ago - can't normally go to sunday bootsales but was on holiday and went with hubby's uncle and wife to one in anglesea (they are carboot aholics and get some fab stuff regularly).

David bowie best of double cd - priced from tesco £18 - cost £1 and its mint condition.
Pink panther coin purse (couldn't resist so kitch) 50p
Red M&S Handbag - identical to my fav black M&S bag that is on its last legs!! 50p (unwanted gift apparently!)
Little brooch - square dimante in a diagonal in original box (from small independent jewellers in wales) £1 and it is just so lovely.
Nike Track Top and Bench Tshirt £2.50 together - I don't see many good clothes in my sons size age 11 -12 and so very chuffed.

FAB boot sale - if it was local I could have bought so much more.. really pleased with my bargains.
Debt free May 2016 (without the support of MSE forum users that would never have been possible - thank you all)

Have been charity shopping for the first time today and I'm really pleased with my purchases.

I bought 2 cookbooks from 1 shop for £2 in total and a further set of 12 cookbooks for £4.75 in another shop.

Also bought a gorgeous pair of Aldo shoes as good as new for £8 from another shop but they don't fit so I'll sell them on ebay - hopefully make my £8 back!!

Been charity shopping today. On the way into town I got roped into doing some Market Research and was rewarded with a £10 high street voucher. Rather than waste money myself I donated it to the Salvation Army which proved good karma as I got:

    1950's black leather Kelly bag
1960's Framed turquoise vinyl handbag with matching gloves inside
    1950's brown vinyl handbag
    1950's cream vinyl handbag
    Two vintage fake fur hats
vintage fake fur coat collar with button trim
1980's wool coat length batwing cardigan with quilted lining and a zip
    1940's beaver lamb jacket

    Total: £6.75

Goanmad I LOVE your Cher-esque jumpsuit! I'm hitting eBay right now to find myself a new outfit. I need some "new" (but not actually new) clothes

    Mega bargain! Love it
I'm going to make sure I have a lunchbreak tomorrow and hit the charity shops to see if I can find something. I bought a camel colour tunic last week for £4 still with the tags on from Next - not a label I usually buy but its quite smart for work with tan boots and black leggings
No one in my town seems to bother with vintage so hopefully all the more for me. Might have to take a leaf out of your book and befriend some of the shop ladies
Going to have a hunt for jumble sales this weekend now as OH is not playing football so I can get him to carrying the bags :) not that he minds, he loves looking at the books anyway

  • Today I bought some brand new cowboy style boots for £2! Very chuffed with them :)

I also got some 1985 Thomas The Tank Engine curtains for my sons bedroom for £2.50 :)

  • This week I have found -
Next blouse (really nice and bit different for me) 3 pounds
Ben sherman mens shirt 1 pound
Girls beautiful silk dress for Christmas 1.50
Baby denim jacket frm Next (would never normally buy this new for him but was a bargain) 1 pound
Laura Ashley denim skirt 1 pound
    Next baby trousers 50p
Brand new tommee tippee milk bib 20p
    Beautiful babys blanket 1.00
    V tech Diego Laptop - 1.50.

Really pleased. Have one CS near me and ladies just seem to charge what they fancy, makes the others seem really expensive!!!
But i bet they make more as shop always seems to be busy.

I did go to a couple of charity shops in town this lunchtime and picked up two lovely vintage dresses

Will be back soon with photos if I can get my iphone back off my hubbie who is playing with silly apps
