I love reading about all your fantastic bargains, I'm so jealous of your Dior scarf and Viking ship pendent, Goanmad - I love them!
I picked up a £2.50 George grey striped long grandad cardi at the table top sale last Saturday, I also popped in to the charity shops and got a pair of barely worn calf length riding boots for £7.99 (I've been after a pair just like them for ages!) and a paperback book for 20p, was expecting to find more treasures though.0 -
Haven't been buying much lately, but popped into the local CS's and picked up an amazing vintage wool/cashmere mix cape in rust and green tartan fabric for £6. I think if I keep it i may have to alter it as it drowns my petite frame atm, but almost positve I may Ebay it. Sooo on trend I couldn't believe it was still on the racks.
Also a lovely brushed cotton floral print granny skirt in lovely autumn colours that I've already shortened to a mini for my DD-£2 looks just like the stuff from Urban Outfitters she covets and great with her new faux fur coat.
A pure lambswool oversized granny chic cardi for £3 also for my DD in Maroon and forest and navy with gilt buttons.
And for me a lovely tapestry dr's style bag for £6- just what i've been looking for, brand new modern make- would have prefered a vintage but it looks great with my new coat and faux fur collar.
Great finds everyone...hoping to do a CB on sunday so will hopefully find some stuff then. I do miss the buzz of the search.Grocery challenge October: £228.28/£250.00 NSD 4 ( not completed)

I usually dont have much luck bargain-spotting, but last week I picked up a Dixonian small bud vase for 75p from a charity shop. I bought it because I liked it, it's about 5" tall, finished in mother of pearl with a fluted rim and gold leaf around the edge. I've done a bit of research and can't find anything silimar for sale anywhere but I have discovered that its Victorian so I have myself a genuine antique at last (I hope)!!£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Got a pair of totally fab boots from a charity shop last week. Brand new brown leather 3 quarter length Oasis boots for £8. Look lovely on and a really good fit and comfy.
Went into one charity shop and the prices were horrndous. There was a cardy that looked like a dog blanket and it was £45:eek: didnt recognise the make, presume it was designer.I have every possession I want. I have a lot of friends who have a lot more possessions. But in some cases I feel the possessions possess them, rather than the other way round0 -
Hit the local CB yesterday, ususlly never get much there. True to form I bought just a lovely watercolour wash scarf for 50p and a Cream voile top that gathers at the neckline with a big bow by Miso for 50p. Thought I might be able to wear this tucked into a highwaisted skirt but it just doesn't sit right on me, I loved the fabric, so will ebay it. I'll keep the scarf for me though, such lovely colours.

I went to an indoor car boot in St Helens. Its in a multi stoey car park in the centre and you can park for free in an adjacent car park (all signposted too). I got my little girl loads of Next clothes for £4 and I got a pair of trousers for work for 50p. It was packed. There is a nice pub opposite too so you can get a drink and something to eat. Makes a nice morning out and there is a big shopping centre nearby so you can have a look in the shops and think Im not paying that lol:rotfl:. Think its on all year.I have every possession I want. I have a lot of friends who have a lot more possessions. But in some cases I feel the possessions possess them, rather than the other way round0
