  • Way to go Miss Laid, Windsmoor suits cost a small fortune new! Goanmad - am v. jealous of 20p Suzie Cooper dish! Had some great bargains on boring basic items (leggings, cardies, vests) recently but this weeks favourite snaffle is a navy and white striped pure wool 3/4 sleeve jumper from Jigsaw - 99p! A quick go with the lint roller and it's now like new! V happy!

At last weekends boot sale I got 7 lovely vintage dresses from a girl selling her grannies wardrobe contents. She couldn't believe anyone would be interested - everything was stuffed inside her old suitcases. She was chuffed to get 50p each for them. Have washed nearly all of them and will try them on later and see which ones need taking up as they are quite long and am more likely to wear them if above the knee

Also bought a Catwoman fancy dress costume for £1.50 which had been worn once. When I got home I found a whip in the pack which doesn't normally come with it! Is there something you want to tell us bootsale lady?

    The dresses sound great.

I should imagine the Catwoman costume is Ann Summers and would come with a whip?

No its not an Ann Summers costume - thats one thing I wouldn't buy second hand :rotfl: its a proper fancy dress one, probably about £30 worth in the fancy dress shop. Still looks quite cheap but then most of them do. I prefer making my own but all my friends come to me for costumes so I collect bits and bobs. The contents are listed on the packaging and it definately doesn't come with a whip. A friend has borrowed it already though - and she took the whip!
