They shouldn't for Euro payments, but First Direct is the only bank I've seen that specifically spells out their policy on Euro Payments.
"in currency above £100 equivalent
(payments up to 50,000 euros or 500,000 Swedish Krona from a country in the EU will be received free of charge provided the BIC and IBAN numbers are provided with the payment). "0 -

I joined Bare in Sept. and completed my first job in Sept. I agreed to be paid through Paypal, but paid a conversion commission, so thinking of changing this to my bank account. Interested to know if the bank would also charge this since Bare pay in Euros.0 -
Good grief - I think i'm being spammed by TERN. I've just got 5 mails from them in 3 hours for jobs no-where near me...0

They shouldnt? Really because most of the banks I've spoken to charge a small fee for it - IIRC with RBS its about £1.50, as you say First Direct are the only ones to spell it out but I'm pretty sure its common practise to charge a 'nominal' fee. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Thanks guys. Scubaangel - No I don't know the cheapest bank, it'll be my first payment from BARE so I've held off on taking any more jobs until I know how much they charge (if they do).0

It was mine, I deleted it, didn't want to leave it on there for two long, as the company concerned do not like their business being discussed on internet forums.
(has noone got sick yet, of my stupidly large text that is so bright to make it almost unreadable?!)0 -
