I`ve just been dropped from that company that give you the fattening burger jobs. Only been with them since June. But I am not taking this personally. I`ve read some other posts on here where other people have got the heave-ho, so not alone.
Awww no you're not the only one, I've heard of lots of people who've been sacked. At least you won't be as tempted by the fast food now!0 -

I expect I'll be dropped by them. I missed two calls from them last night, then had a number of missed calls from them when I was out today. They finally caught up with me late afternoon and demanded I go and do a job tomorrow lunchtime as someone has let them down. I explained I'll be miles away from that location as I've got loads of other work on, so she said she'd book me in for Saturday. I don't want to go on Saturday as it's in a shopping centre that is absolutely heaving on weekends so I said that wasn't possible either. I got told I was being difficult, so I just apologised again and she hung up.
The job is reimbursement only so it would actually cost me to do the job by the time you factor in petrol and my time, and I'm not overly keen on the item I have to buy so there's no incentive for me to do it.Here I go again on my own....0 -

I had a phone call this evening and the guy was really pushy. I ended up saying yes in the end but really wish I had said no.0 -

If this is the same person with a foreign name from the australian company - then I too have been in this situation. And have accepted everything... Then at the end of the conversation say I have not got my diary in front of me ... will I be penalised for moving dates/cancelling jobs.
Have been known to cancel 6 jobs in one hit and use the "I did not select this assignment" option in cancelling.
Must be doing something right - been with them for 4 years and not been struck off yet - but I think that comes down to a number of factors - where you live and the number of MS'ers near you - your early reporting quality and accuracy - number of released jobs. It is a profile issue for the MS company as well - In their position you would do the same maybe - or go the REtail Eyes route - whereby some people can see jobs and others cant.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

Glad thats over - just finished report number 7! - thats £120 fees in the bank!
It did take 2 hours planning yesterday - 6 hours driving 90 miles and carrying out work and 4 hours inputting results.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

.......They finally caught up with me late afternoon and demanded I go and do a job tomorrow lunchtime as someone has let them down..............
Do you bargain? They are not so keen on additional payment - once I have managed to get a burger job with a double figure reimbursement. Start plying them for the jobs you like - all the faves (petrol, corner shops etc) - the petrol assignments are allocated up to 2 months in advance now.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

oh bottom, I just had to share with people who understand. I went out tonight at 8.30pm in the rain for an assignment which...... I'm meant to be doing next week! :embarasse
Still I'm glad it was only a cheap one and nearby, I only spent £2.50 would have been worse if it was one of the £20/30 spend ones I've done recently!0 -

Oh poor you! What a killer.Call it a dress rehearsal!
I`ve shopped the wrong location once but was a no spend...I did feel stupid when I realised.0 -
Do you bargain?
No because I didn't want to do the job in the first place. I would have helped out if it was convienient for me and have negotiated extra fees and other jobs before. It's just not convenient to do this one and a few extra quid or jobs wouldn't have changed my mind.
And how for that matter how would the MS know who was posting?
It has happened before in the past. I can't remember who or what but someone posted too much information and was spoken to by the MS company. Here I go again on my own....0
