  • We are turning into pathological liars :) I always say that I have been asking my daughter to buy so and so for ages, and can you believe it, I have just met for her lunch in town, and she has bought exactly what I have been asking for. I always mutter "sod's law and smile sweetly".

I always order the hairdryer, then take it back saying that I meant to buy one with a diffuser attachment.

I always use those types of lies in the cat shops too lol. It's surprising and worrying how quickly it becomes natural :o.

Is anyone else not getting all the alerts come through? I haven't had any today & thought it strange - just had a look and there are several. I'm also not getting the last posts showing on my user CP. It all seems to be a bit hit & miss at the mo.

I was going to have a non MS day today and get the Xmas cards & pressies sorted - then ESA phoned and offered me a fee I couldn't resist for a clothes shop which was 40 mins away :o. Tomorrow I am going to have a non MS day  (apart from bowling tom night :rotfl:).

Not one not two but three major shopping centres in our capital city two weeks before Christmas - 9 jobs later....must be mad!! but its done now and the reports are finally finished. Got a phone call from G*p today asking if I'd do a burger tea tomorrow said I would and he gave me two corner shops for 2nd Jan - my first jobs for the new year. I'm going to wind up now for christmas now i think. I have a job on sunday and I think that will be my last for the year......can someone remind me I said that please??

Oh dear, I wouldnt want to be the staff member getting his report back...hadn't realised until I started writing it up just how poor it was. :(

On the other hand just written one in which there wasnt a bad thing to say - I wanted to pick the staff member up and take him home to entertain me, lol.

Sure Becles I can help with this one.

I gave them a ring and asked them to add Tesco, Shell petrol, pizza Hut and McDonalds.

They were most helpful on the phone and even offered to add Littlewoods and KFC. I didn't even know they did those ones! ;) I'm now up to 31 clients with them. Is that what everyone else is on?

Beat you. I phoned up and they added in a ladies of the night franchise, a nice little drug dealership ring in London, some PR jobs for jordan( room for expansion there). some MI5 jobs and filling in MP's expenses forms.

    Now beat that eh.

He was lovely, sooo funny, I'd have kept him as a pet in my as yet unset up 400 litre aquarium, lol, he'd have been no danger to mr scuba though not my type of blerk at all, too effeminate looking but if he'd not been a good foot taller than me I'd have considered sticking him in my pocket and taking him home. :rotfl:

sorry if this has been asked before. But for REACT do you have to provide evidence for travel expenses. It says 17ppm or 6.80 for public transport...but how do i prove miles or is it just honesty?
    Thanks

You just put the number of miles. If they were suspicious they would use multimap and check your and the shops postcode.

React money in today, but no sign of RE :(
  • Morning all, just got back from my burger breakfast job, and got another floor show this morning. Normally I'd just play along, but as i'm in a festive mood today I thought i' have a bit of fun....

So im sitting in the burger restaurant right in the middle, 2 tables of people eating infront of me, and a couple eating behind me, and the manager, a lad who couldn't have been more than 20 bless him, walks right up to me and says "Is everything alright with your meal?" To which I reply with a confused look on my face "Are you hitting on me?" He goes a little red and replies "No, I was just doing my normal checks." So I say "Oh, well it's just that you walked past 3 other tables of people eating just to ask me." At which point he gets flustered and says "errr.. So I did, i'll do them now" and proceeds to ask all the other guests if everything is alright with their food too...

I think I might avoid that particular restaurant for the walk in jobs for a while but even so, best chuckle I had in ages and serves him right for being so brazen.
