Is it a buy, return and order in? I got the same girl at the checkout every time. Felt like a bit of a fool, but hey, I'm used to it.

If it's a female staff member, I normally go in as if I'm a bit cheesed off and say that although I told my husband I was buying a replacement kettle (or whatever you bought!), he's just rang me to tell me he's bought one. Then the lady normally has a bit of a "men are hopeless and don't listen" type rant with me, and I don't feel as stupid :D
Here I go again on my own....

I usually do the same thing about my gf, regardless of the sex of the till op! haha! "She's so stupid, she said she wanted this colour, but she's changed her mind and wants X colour, which you don't stock" - the till girl's probably sat thinking "no, she told you X colour in the first place, but you just didn't listen" haha, doesn't bother me! :-)

I accepted one of these today - It is a bit of a hassle but for the questionnaire I started entering random details and printing each page of the questionnaire as I went along (about 4 pages I think). Then when I got to the end, I cancelled everything and it did not save any answers.
That's clever! I'm going to try doing that. Thanks for the tip!;)

I did one last week and it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. The good thing is that you can wander in with a 'shopping list' for what you're going to order and then just add notes to it as you go. Everybody else in the shop at the time was writing and scribbling on their notes.

Is it a buy, return and order in? I got the same girl at the checkout every time. Felt like a bit of a fool, but hey, I'm used to it.
Yep, it's a buy, return and order in.:cheesy: No doubt I will be scribbling away on my 'shopping list'. I don't think I can remember all the timing points otherwise.:o

I've done one of these for ESA before, and I contacted them as they didn't pay me postage either, they sent me an email saying it was been looked into, the next month it was paid. (If it's to do with photos then you should be fine)

It is the photos job but they haven't paid postage or the fee!!! I'll query it tomorrow.

We are turning into pathological liars :) I always say that I have been asking my daughter to buy so and so for ages, and can you believe it, I have just met for her lunch in town, and she has bought exactly what I have been asking for. I always mutter "sod's law and smile sweetly".
We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

I was doing a bank visit and was using the same contact number and address again, so I made up a cover story to say why I was staying with my sister. The woman handling my enquiry seemed more interested in my cover story than she was in my financial matters.

sorry if this has been asked before. But for REACT do you have to provide evidence for travel expenses. It says 17ppm or 6.80 for public transport...but how do i prove miles or is it just honesty?
    Thanks

I assumed they would know from looking at where you live on a map to calculate your miles. I didn't send my parking ticket in, I guess they will let me know if they need it.
