hello,
have just completed my first job for tern :j and have a quick question!
bought some glasses which i was able to collect today so doing the report now and plan to send them to tern tomorrow. do i need to send them special or recorded delivery or is normal post with proof of postage ok? also am i correct in assuming we pay for the postage and don't claim it back? can't seem to find the answers
thanks
I'm sure the last one I did for them they sent me a pre-paid envelope. I just got proof of postage.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

hmmmmmmm! though it was a bit strange i had no instructions on what to do with them. shame i can't keep them , they are much nicer than my current ones. i should have got them to help me instead of getting the first pair i picked up when i got mine! i will give them a call tomorrow and see what has happened to it!Mystery Shopping £1147/£2000 (Jan) :j

I did an MS yesterday at a posh lingerie shop and have discovered I need to change my user name from deedee to feefee
I've also got a pair of glasses I need to send back. Hope a jiffy envelope does arrive as I've another one to do later in the week too.0 -
Probably a lot will depend on the shop. Some are competent on the machines and your receipt will have both postage and purchases itemised. Some stores however ask you to pay at another counter for purchases and I have experienced the cash going into some dubious looking boxes masquerading as tills and have to ask for a receipt and get it reluctantly and usually hand written....all passed the gyp scrutiny however.
You could play it safe and do the parts seperately . I would say I am posting the parcel for work/mother/friend and the purchases are for work so I need seperate receipts or something similar.
I think I will be buying savings stamps once I've stocked up on sufficient postage for my ebay auctions. It sometimes prohibits these in the brief, but doesn't for these ones, so pleased with that. Hopefully will get a decent amount towards my car tax. Last year I paid over half with savings stamps from these jobs.
I've also got plenty of jiffy bags and will fill them with magazines so no expense necessary there.0 -
cte the last few stamp shop briefs I've seen have said you can't buy savings stamps any more, I'd check to make sure it's still ok!It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

another quick question to go with this.
what happens about the purchase if you give out the certificate? do you make the purchase when they know what your doing???
hope this is not a daft question.0 -
