  • Anyone doing any of the gyp stamp jobs? The brief is a bit ungrammatical ! Also re the £x reimbursement do you think that the rule is the same as for the last wave ie you'll get the £x reimbursed even if you dont spend it all?

I did this for a chicken job a few months back and still got paid. I also did a burger job today and didn't get a receipt either! He said he'd put it in the bag, but guess what was missing when I opened it up.... I think its 3 strikes and you're out, so i'm on my last life but you should be ok I think.

I've had to read the brief a few times before I was sure what it meant, so yes not the best brief. But it looks quite straightforward to do and a decent fee, when you add in the extra fees for the envelope etc.

It's hard to tell whether you will get the full reimbursement if you don't spend it all. I guess one of us will need to be the guinea pig and try it. But they take so long to pay that it will be a while before we know for sure.
  • Phew, just got in from ms'ing and missed the gyp alert. Thought there wouldn't be any shops left but there were loads! I'm a happy bunny. Don't mind the brief.

quick question.... as the brief is a bit convuluted! Should we get 2 receipts? 1 for the postage IF we post the item and 1 for the purchase reimbursement?

Whenever i post a letter the MOS always justs asks "do u want 1st or 2nd class" . Never have they asked if I want special!

I normally spend just over the reimbursement as I like to stock up on stamps. I'd rather use all the reimbursement rather than risk not getting the full amount paid back!

That was what I was wondering too. I think you do.
