I'm not offended and I agree with you. On a job application form, it's not a true reflection of your abilities if someone else has told you what to write.
I have worked out how to post comments, but need help/advice regarding forum ettiquette. I noticed that after the above post is said that you have been thanked for this post several times. Is it considered "good form" to thank for general comments as well as those posts giving constuctive advice/information? I don't want to get off on the wrong foot and upset the established members by not making the appropriate comments when necessary. Thanks. If it weren't for mystery shopping I would never have discovered the joy of launch control.0 -

You dont have to thank EVERY time someone posts but if a comment is useful to you then yes please thank, its appreciated. There are a lot of nice experienced MSers on here who give great advice. I know that without some of the advice on here I would have been lost when I first started out. Now even I give advice if I know the answer0 -

Whenever i post a letter the MOS always justs asks "do u want 1st or 2nd class" . Never have they asked if I want special!0 -

I was just going to get 1 receipt, can't see why not.
"You must carry out the Mails transaction FIRST, followed by a purchase transaction, so that there is no confusion on the Horizon system within the branch."
So whatever this horizon system is I guess it records what amount of postage is used???0 -

Probably a lot will depend on the shop. Some are competent on the machines and your receipt will have both postage and purchases itemised. Some stores however ask you to pay at another counter for purchases and I have experienced the cash going into some dubious looking boxes masquerading as tills and have to ask for a receipt and get it reluctantly and usually hand written....all passed the gyp scrutiny however.
You could play it safe and do the parts seperately . I would say I am posting the parcel for work/mother/friend and the purchases are for work so I need seperate receipts or something similar.Happy snooping!0 -
