In the scenario it says to buy the pharmacy strength product, which is in a yellow packet. So it's not confusion but straight forward incorrect instructions.

They are now saying that they will not pay me as I bought the own brand version (as recommended by their staff). I am objecting but quite hacked off. They really are abysmal to work for. Everything is our fault and they apply no mental reasoning at all. I went into the shop and asked for the product that they told me to ask for, but was recommended a cheaper equivalent. Wouldn't a normal customer go for that? I would do in normal life.

I don't think you are correct. The notes say to buy the pharmacy strength product which is what is written on the blue/turquiose packet. The yellow one says maximum strength on the box. The yellow one is 10% (Ibrofen? i think) whereas the blue one which you are to get is 5%. I think the point of the shop is to see if the assistant/pharmacist goes straight for the higher strength product.

Hope this helps anyone still to do their visit.

I didn't look at the box, just went along with what the assistant said, e.g. I asked for pharmacy strength, he showed me the yellow box. Presumed this was the right one. Looks like they have changed the notes to reflect this problem but it's hardly fair to penalise those of us who did the shop early with the unclear notes.

Both the blue and yellow are Pharmacy only products.

  • I've recently filled in an application for MS and been accepted.
Can you apply and work for more than 1 company in MS or is it not the 'done' thing?

Thank you for any help/advice :)

Fill your boots - some even see it as a very positive thing and skips some of the initiation!

I had a count up and I'm with 14 that I can recall - I'm sure there are a few others that crop up now and again.

I am now with 11 I think! Just been accepted by TSN :j
Bring on the :coffee: and :bdaycake:

Think it is definately a good thing to be with a few. I don't really like ones you have to apply for jobs on as I don't get assigned them as I have no rating, but can't get a rating as they won't give me an assignment! I have applied for a few Tern ones now but they always give them to someone else! The only exception to this is ESA who have given me most assignments I have applied for.

I think aba-i is my favourite followed by esa and gr. :D

Oh I see ABA-i staff are developing an attitude problem about rescheduling jobs. They are sending out very threatening emails if you dare to cancel then reselect a job, basically stating you will be struck off their books for daring to do it regardless of reason.

Can I suggest to anyone who gets an email like this to immediately request a call from a Senior Manager as I have had a blistering email exchange about this all afternoon which has culminated in removal of clients and a very poor attitude from from ABA-i. My partner also suffered the same thing this afternoon.
