I have to say I'm getting really annoyed with TNS sending emails this week. I've had 6 today!!! I keep getting loads aimed at 18-21 year olds and others for over 25s and I'm 23 so I can't even do them. :mad:Same here, if I carries on tomorrow I'm really going to let rip with them!

If they'd not got rid of the area managers it wouldn't be happening (IMO).0 -
I don't know why you've encountered a bad attitude from them, as I've dealt with a few of the peeps there and always found them to be nice to talk to (and email to), maybe you just caught someone having a bad day - no excuse, but it happens to us all from time to time.
Th best thing to have done would've been to ring them and ask for an extension, the liklihood is that they'd have said yes, particularly is you regularly do jobs that are 100's of miles away.
.
I think it is a particular member of staff, she also had a massive go at my partner in Aberdeen today because he also had to reschedule 2 jobs, primarily due to flooding as well at the start of the week. I had a similar problem with their fabled invite on Department store 3 months ago. Got assigned a job as a Sunday, did it on a Sunday and then got called to say report was rejected as it was meant to be done on a Saturday. Funnily enough they started the attitude at that point as well when I pointed out I agreed to do a Sunday for that site not a Saturday as they said it should have been, so I promptly withdrew myself from that client as well. I've had numerous phone calls and emails asking to restart doing the client but until they come up with a more user friendly date allocation system and an apology then I wont be. That store alone was a 240 mile round trip and given I had to spend £25 plus my mileage for their mistake and get sod all back, I was less than impressed.
The thing is I do like doing their jobs but to be honest, they latest escapade shows absolutely no regard for shoppers doing them huge favours in remote locations. The stupid thing is the job they were getting shirty about is still on the system along with 4 others in close proximty. If after 6 months they then decide they dont like us using their loophole for sorting out dates for genuine reaons, then it should have been closed long ago with at least a friendly email advising of it or a courtesy call. An email which in the second line saying I will likely be terminated as a shopper for rescheduling an assignment 'several times' when in fact it was once this morning and at no times in the previous 5 months is total arrogance in my opinion - god it makes Gap look shopper friendly!
Rant over! lol0 -

Over this past year I seem to be getting more and more last minute calls to complete assignments that have been dropped or are needing a re-shop. Great for me but terribly frustrating for the agencies; must be maddening to see jobs constantly being rescheduled and not being able to achieve their deadlines. We only juggle our weekly quotas, I wouldn't want to be looking at the whole country and wondering if they are all going to be done in time. Totally agree with Tractor and Mysterious Girl in that if you telephone and they know from your past performance that you stick to the deadlines then they will accommodate requests.
Think you're on your own MikeLB in thinking its ok to cancel and reschedule with Aba-i. The best thing would have been to telephone them.
We'll need to agree to disagree - I manage to juggle 20 - 30 MS jobs a week with a full time job as well with no problems and have done for 5 years. If ABA-i are wanting jobs done on a specific 3 day window then they usually put that on the jobs. To start shouting about a deadline which doesnt exist until 2 weeks time is petty and has never proved a problem with them in the past.0 -
I don't think you are alone MikeLB.
I have reserved a discount store in Ipswich, and I have had an email come in saying it is available, only to log straight in to Aba-i site to find it has been booked already. Seems bit too much of a coincidence that someone else has got to it that quickly, unless more than one person can reserve a store. (in which case I stand corrected).0 -

Yeah that was me, I reserved it too and picked up the job as soon as I got the mail. Sorry...0 -
If you dig out your latest bank statement you should find the BIC code and IBAN code somewhere on the statement. Mine is shown directly underneath my account no and sort code. The BIC (or SWIFT) code is a unique id for a particular bank and the IBAN is the International Bank Account no which banks use for transferring money between each other. Your IBAN should start with GBxx where xx will be a 2 digit number. HTH
Something to add to one of the first posts TG?
Also, a tip somewhere to add in to always print off the job notes as soon as you can, in case of website problems?0 -

But always remember to double check them before you go if you can...RE have been known to change them without warning!Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

thought I would share with you some of the reporting issues I have had over the years (more recently though!)
Gap petrol assignment - This was not my first petrol one for them - I had read the notes initially when I started and had asked via enquiry if it was OK to purchase diesel - and had confirmation. Yet I got the query back on a job much later stating I was not allowed to buy diesel!!
Gap again - Pizza assignmensts, followed the brief and bought the required items and commented on items, another guest came with us and ordered (which has never been a problem before and is expected - as they ask if you take children and it is permitted in the briefing notes) - You guessed - Queried the purchase of additional items.
Retail Eyes - I had 2 reports returned for clarification because of a lack of comment, despite the selection only requiring comments if negative.
Retail Eyes - Meal out - purchased a dessert (singular - and shown on receipt as one dessert - a waffle IIRC), Commented on the ice cream saying it was icy. Query advising that I should only comment on one dessert?
TERN - Glasses enquiry - Poor feedback score on a job following an assistant who went "mm, hmm" (with an upturned inflection in her voice) when I asked if they suited. I described this as "making positive noises" in the comments - which TERN reckons I should have put "she said positive things"??
RE - Visiting a cafe and it was closed - I had the third degree on it asking why was it shut, was I at the right place, was it the right day, was I late.... without maybe asking the client - Luckily always take pictures of events like this!
I always look forward to the next reason for something not being right!Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!
