Has anyone recived their nanos from the refurb store yet? just wondering about the condition of the refurb unit & box etc and what accessories come in the box. Thanks!

Wonder if they're reducing them because a new version of the nano with a metal case is coming out in September!

Got my refurb 4gb Nano today, looks brand new, even has the cellophane wrapper covering the case and the plastic coating on the front. However, does not come with the slip case, the dock adapter or even the original box, just a foam padded delivery box. Thanks to OP !

They have these on offer to students through September so it's unlikely it'll ship then?

£113 cheapest out there ? here good price refub from apple? buying as a gift will it be scratched (or I guess its just a risk I have to take) - btw new nanos to be annouced in september right so surley this will kill the price a bit - anyone got news on this.

My experience of refurbs from apple is that they are as good as new. No scratches, new components, same warranty etc. The only thing you don't get is the original packaging which may impact your decision if it is a gift, but paying £50 or so extra for a cardboard box seems a bit steep to me, since it will only end up in the bin anyway.

Had the same experience as superpacman with regards refurbed iPods - as good as new. Had mine over a year and nothing has gone wrong Girl at work has had to replace hers 3 times in 12 months !! Maybe refurbed is the way as all the issues would have been corrected ?

The talk is that Apple are having a major product launch on the 12th Sept hence I see a lot of refurb stuff on their site including Macs.

When Apple refurb Ipods they refurb the insides, but throw away the casing and put a new one on. Therefore you won't notice the difference between this and a brand new one. Good deal!

I got a 2Gb Nano and a 30Gb Video from the refurb shop and they look brand new, only as mentioned the packaging is cardboard rather than the retail box, but so what.

Only thing I would say about the 4Gb Nano is that at £113 it's not much more to get the 30Gb Video which is £143. Depends what you're after.
