Free Unlock Codes For Nokia phones 4 (for U.K. Networks only)

Hi,

I' trying to unlock my Vodafone Nokia 6021 - I type in the code - then nothing happens, I press the green button - it tells me emergency calls only.... as it doesn't have it's sim card in..... My usual Orange contract fone has a cracked screen and I can't get another on insurance as I lost one in December so I'm trying to unlock my pay as you go- can anybody help please?

This is what I got from the website:

Amazingly quick reply - thank you! However! I've taken the sim out, put that code in, again, nothing happens.... should I be pressing something after the # key and are the gaps in the code spaces to be put in? if so how do I find a space?.....

no spaces
make sure you use a non accepted sim to enter the code
