Hi thanks for trying to help with the nokia, its gone to the market for someone to do. I put the two in from Tricktill and I was reluctant to try again.

you need to put a sim card from another network in the phone and then try the code when it asks for a restriction code

Thanks Browntoa, my daughters phone is now unlocked. The other one went to market, I dont think they wanted to let me do it.

oops, Browntoa, it said Sim unrestricted so I though it had worked and then it would not acpt the new sim card.
Both codes not worked and as someone tried two times sbefore me, I presume I have one last attempt. Any ideas please?

which code gave you "sim unrestricted " ??

if it was the one ending +7 then you may need to try the once ending +1

either that or the other sim is dodgy ??

These two did not work, have checked IMEI is correct. Flummoxed by it. Is it because its virgin

what is the message when you put the new sim card in?
what network is the new sim? not 3 is it?
