Yes tried it with a non O2 sim.

Interestingly, instead of a "code error" message (which I got when I tried a code from one of the free calculator sites), this one gave me a message saying "Not allowed (followed by a "SIM not valid" message when I tried the Virgin SIM that I want to use in it).

how many tries have you had at code unlocking?
enter code with virgin sim in. make sure you put the #PW+ in as well

Hi dracir, the phone is a Nokia 6230 its locked to O2.
IMEI:356238008044030
I used the box serial you suggested.
I then tried to unlock using code 7 and then 1.
The codes just sat on the screen, nothing happened so I am presuming it did not unlock.

Hi Richard, Sorry I didn`t say it is a 6230i.
Have only tried the code you supplied twice, using a new O2 sim, No joy.
Its not already unlocked, I hope you can help.
