To be fair Shafted, I fail to understand who anyone, thick or with a bit of brains, would fail to know about the Charge.
It's even been on EastendersIt's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0 -
You've hit the nail on the head mate. I've heard of Eastenders and I've heard of the congestion charge and understand. The where, what, when, who and how etc. I didn't have a clue.
I'd heard of the M6 Toll, when I used it, it was clear what to do and I paid it. If there'd been a meter I'd have paid then. Like I said getting a bill OK but a £60 penalty notice is criminal.
I object to being called stupid and a liar - I am neither.0 -
Did it not occur to you to do a bit of research before hand though? It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0

no Reggie - why should he? After all TFL should have had a flunky waiting to direct him to a place to pay the charge. Which he never saw a sign for, or a big C in red on the road, course he didn't need to do some research first, after all he never got charged the last time. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. No point in asking if he realised the difference between the M6 Toll, a straight bit of road, and an area in the centre of the biggest city in the country with numerous entrances and exits then? It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0

Look it's very good of you to waste your holiday instructing me researching the congestion charge, but if I were you I'd enjoy it while you can.adouglasmhor wrote: »no Reggie - why should he?
