What advice would that have been then? My only advice was pay up or pay up and cry about it, I see you went for option 2.

they are beside the roads on poles. If they put them in the middle of the lanes people would crash into them but maybe you would have seen them then.

And no I am not a traffic warden, I am a Local Government Officer, I do have a post grad diploma and both a B.Sc. and a B.A.(hons).

I will change my advice though Pay up or go to court and lose, you are even less likely to be believed there and it will cost you more and have a good cry as well.

You said I'd be OK arriving after 6pm - one of your signs that you've been pontificating about says the hours of operation are till 6:30pm.

I get criticised for not seeing them whilst driving through London whilst you can't even read them when you post pictures of them. Hate to think you give advice to Council Tax Payers, you can't even get it right when you're an expert!

The original Congestion scheme was in operation until 6.30pm. It was later amended to 6pm.
