I'm in on he matched betting live-in seminar as well, and I thought I made it clear that I was going to be Hypno's ironing person living in that barn?! (If you didn't get it, guys, SCRAM!
)
Anway, sorry for hijacking your thread, Hypno: just felt the need to virtually piddle all over my barn territory.
Now then Miss Pickle...i have previous on this as on one of Hypno's other diaries i did offer to iron in exchange for ...well i can't remember:D But some of us have prior:rolleyes::rotfl::rotfl:Plus i think Jaffa cakes were involved:T
I am sure other priors will be out to piddle in their corners too:p:eek::D:rotfl::rotfl:
Watches Hypno rub hands with glee at thought of never having to iron again:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Now now girls, no need to fight - there is enough ironing to go around :rotfl:
I don't feel as though I have had an extra hour in bed, but I suppose I must have done  Hopefully I will feel the benefit of it during the course of the day. I've got to help DS with his and DDs paper rounds today because then we have to go to an away fixture for his football team which is bloomin miles away, and will end up taking most of the day.....
I've also got a mystery shop I must try and fit in - £15 so worth the effort, even though I don't feel overly inspired to do it today
Scratches gave 10p, but of course double scratch today, so double 10p....
Having done my online shop yesterday, and putting petrol in the car, I must check my new system of "housekeeping money" is not going to fail in the first week, so online banking will be carefully scrutinised later this afternoon.
OH got an extra shift today, to cover someone who has gone off sick, so that is very welcome, as shifts have not been so regular this year......he will get paid for that at the end of November, so nicely in time for Christmas.
Hope you all have a good day - I've got time for another coffee before I head out.......:DSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Am watching your new housekeeping system with interest. Something has got to work!
Good luck with the football, I remember those away matches with my DS, as much as I loved being a touchline Mum I don't miss the travelling, sometimes DS would be supersub and get 15 minutes play for an hour plus each way. That's sadly why he gave it up.DC.

Morning DC!
DS has only joined the village team this year, as previously there was just no chance for him to train because of all his other sporting commitments.....so he switched karate for football in the summer
I will be taking my flask of coffee with me.........and hoping the weather stays dry.....and will be looking forward to getting home!
Just won and withdrawn £10 b!ngo money, so that will be another payment to the debt at some point next week.....:DSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Excellent rules, Shaun, I like that! Hypno, hope its actually enjoyable too, cheering on DS. I'm doing a matched bet today, first time in ages - spo rtingbet, I should make £26. And I'm on course to make £2k from dfw work in a year - not counting all the reduced bills (like water, down £35 a month) and vouchers and whatnot - the £2k is actual money passing into my bank account, which I'm pretty pleased at. I'm slightly petrified at the matched bet, since I haven't done one for so long, but I checked it six ways from Sunday, so it should be okay.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

£2k from MSE "stuff" is not bad going at all! In fact it is flippin marvellous - you wouldn't have turned £2k away if it arrived in the post, would you? :T
Paper rounds done - and we finished early due to DS's super sprinting between houses.....so enough time for a quick coffee before heading out again.
Shaun, the rules for this parent are:- take flask of coffee
- sit in car reading Sunday papers with said flask of coffee
- look up from time to time to see if DS is still playing/alive
- ask at the end if he enjoyed it and tell him to get straight in the bath when he gets home.

Good morning Hypno and co, it's nice to get up while it's light for a change! Like you Hypno I am reorganising my budgeting at present. Payday is next week, and after deducting the cost of the Sainsbury shop due on payday, the remainder of the grocery budget will be split 4 ways for the 4 weeks to next payday. I will aim to spend less than the weekly amount and put the leftover amount at the end of each week into the sundries/Christmas budget. I have had a budget of sorts all along but not quite as disciplined so here goes! Debt repayments are taken care of with the IVA payment, plus 50% of the surpuls I earn over the agreed basic amount they say I can earn. Once this IVA is done (not till 2014 sadly!) I will start paying amounts to reduce our mortgage further, so that when our fixed rate deal ends (end of 2019) then there should be less of a balance to worry about. That's the theory anyway!
Have a good day everyone!One life - your life - live it!0 -
Hypno don't you still have the dongle so you can sit in the car with laptop :cool:0
