Hypno's "no more boom or bust" diary

Right.....have looked through banking and I reckon that we have £7 to last us til Friday :rotfl:
This is based on my calculations for BOGOFs etc with the Tesco shop, so it could be a little bit more in my favour (trying to err on the side of caution!)
But I have done a reasonably big shop, and therefore according to my menu plan I have easily got two weeks of main meals, so there should be no need to spend any more this week on odds and ends, and also next week should be a little easier as I have main meals covered.....so hopefully just bread, milk and fruit/veg next week.....
And of course the car has petrol in it, so shouldn't need any more, now that I've not had to take DS today......although OH bike might need £10 petrol putting in it.......

I am sure other priors will be out to piddle in their corners too:p:eek::D:rotfl::rotfl:
Watches Hypno rub hands with glee at thought of never having to iron again:D
Damn, they got in there with Jaffa Cakes!:rotfl:
*Thinks craftily* Well, yes, but that was for the property available then...this was specifically for the property advertised yesterday in 'Property !!!!!!' and therefore I am theoretically the first person to have dibs on one of those outhouses...if Hypno goes back and buys one of the other properties upon which other people who said they were moving in there have first dibs.
Seems fair, no?!
*Calls in sing-song voice* Oh Hypno...come and get the Jaffa Cakes! *Produces very big plate of Jaffas*

Noooo! I wish!! It is a PAYG thing, where £10 gives you so much internet time with a 30 day expiry. So it is great if you know you will be out and about quite a bit over the course of a month, but if it is just to stop you getting bored while watching a football match, it is a bit of an extravagance.
Who is your dongle with. Hypno? I'm with O2: it's £15/month. Dongle was £25 originally. It was very useful when we were between internet providers. It might be a bit expensive, though, seeing what you pay. Please call me 'Pickle'

My dongle is with 3.......but I didn't pay for it - I won it in a local radio station comp, which I only entered, because part of the prize was £200 cash
So I've topped up a couple of times - when I have been staying in travel lodges on ski weekends, and it works out cheaper to top up the dongle than to use the internet in the travelodge....but because we have wireless at home and at the ski club, which are the two places I spend most of my time outside work, I rarely feel that I would get real benefit from using the dongle.
Continuing my relationship with flylady, I've stripped the beds, blitzed half the kitchen (will do the other half later!) and got the washing machine on overtime.......I'm cooking a thai green curry for dinner tomorrow night, and will shortly head off and do my mystery shop, so that I don't leave it until the last minute!
When I get back, I will pop a couple of DVDs in that I haven't made time to watch recently, and will crack on with the ironing - but don't worry, there will still be enough for those of you who are fighting over that job :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
