In fact we have so many lovely shops near us.....it makes being skint really hard work sometimes!!

No, no, no. What you meant to say was 'I decided to experiment by using risotto rice' :rotfl:
We have a posh bra factory shop near me (Rigby & Peller, Freya, Fantasie for £5 upwards), plus a handbag shop where I buy all my overnight bags (have a bit of a thing about them. Have one for swimming, one for Ryanair, one for other airlines, one for two night stays, one for three night stays.....:o) plus you get Jane Norman bags for £5 and lovely leather bags for £50  down to £5. DD pinches my favourites though

Great news on rebanding :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Found source of mystery money - lovely OH had a win and wanted to surprise me. Told him to feel free to do it again!
Great news about the rebanding Hypno - when will you get your refund?
Put some money in a term deposit yesterday, 4.65% for 4 months which I was quite pleased with as I nearly did it on Monday when it was 4.15%.

Glad to know it's not just where I work!
Well done on the Council Tax refund Hypno.
I baked brown soda bread and white normal bread today. The soda bread was gold medal standard, the white: useless! It's my first time, so I'm proud of soda bread albeit the white recipie doesn't add up according to my mum, so I think I'll try a different one next time. Mum made gorgeous vegetable soup so I had soup and soda bread for dinner. It was all home-made so very :money:Please call me 'Pickle'

Oh I am bleary eyed this morning......I hope I don't have a difficult day because I think my head is still in the land of nod
Off to scratch and bank - I don't expect the council tax refund to come through for a few weeks, but it will be nice to see it, whenever it happens!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
