I need to do the bathroom yet, so will be ahead of myself for later in the week, but it really ought to be done before my guest arrives......shouldn't take too long, but will finish watching this film first.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Keeping kids alive is always a good move..:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Have also checked Egg, and although they have credited my money to my account, I still have the twunty message saying I am being dealt with by collections.......ah well, at least my money is mine again.....that's an improvement!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Afternoon - just got soaked putting the chickens to bed and taking dog for walk. Mum is safely home and 1st load of washing is on.
Store Cupboard challenge starting already - we have pork curry for tea with leftovers from sunday.

Productive day Hypno - hope the chores released some of the stress.
I'm trying to tidy up my finances and close some accounts that don't get used ... so that in future if they come back onto cashback sites I can reapply
I tried to close a savings account (A&L) online - it didn't allow me to do so. So, I got the bus into town and after I said to the teller it hadn't been possible to close the account online she said I had to close the account onlineShe then said I had to close it by telephone. I said I couldn't use the phone - she looked at me as if I'm an imbecile because everyone uses the phone... er, not if you're deaf. So she wrote down the telephone number (and it's not a textphone number) and sent me on my way  I've stomped home and feel a bit better for the exercise
