Well done on selling the apartment, shaun. The good thing about propery !!!!!! on a Friday is that it keeps me focused on the end result. I will get there, it is just a matter of time!

I'm just about ready to head off oop north. It is dry, thankfully, and hopefully it will stay that way for the journey. I hate driving in manky weather.

Fresh air - is that another word for "cold":rolleyes::D

    Hypno

I just wanted to thank you for your inspriration - I am £50 up right now and it has a lot to do with you:

I haven't submitted many Doo Yoo reviews but recently I was contacted by Doo Yoo asking if an ad company could use a quote from one of my reviews. I cheekily asked if there was anything in it for me and have just received an M&S giftcard for £50!!!!!! :money::j:j:D

    Thank you for the motivation:D

Pickle - I started off in a one bed starter home - not even a separate bedroom, more of a studio with a mezzanine floor for the bed. The only separate space was the bathroom. It has taken me years and much heartache to get where I am now, and I should have been a lot further down the line if Plan A had worked! (see first post of the last diary for the history!).

Oooh...I'll have one of those, please! And I already read about your house of lego: what a shame! I hope that things work out better in brick and mortar from now on in. Go get yourself a nice house! :)

Shaun, coming from someone who lives in Dublin, you've got a cheek! I never heard a dirtier accent in all my days, and that's coming from a linguist! ;) And yes, Manchester is generally colder than Darn Sarf (same latitude as you guys), but any further north is arctic: I was at uni in Leeds and it's so cold up there they should live in igloos!

That's just more discriminsation against my species! I know that it's cold up here, but there's just no need to use adjectives pertaining to my city in the negative!  ;)

BTW which bit of the north are you visiting, Hypno?!
