:wave:HI Hypno,
This housework business is a pain in the backside when you're working, have a family, trying to do extra and I've still got 2 weeks of running before the marathon! Although have had a cold all week so no runs.
At the mo I've got an A3 piece of paper with 'The B...'s Big Clean for Christmas Campaign' on it which I have listed everything that needs sorting out before the family decend on us for Xmas Day this year. I've only done 3 things so far but my dd said that it looks nice so chuffed that the family have noticed but would actually like some help. So 4 year old will be scrubbing and cleaning at the weekend :rotfl:.
Lots to do and can't believe how much has been thrown out or donated, I thought we were quite sorted.
Anyway just wanted to say, well done and I mean a big well done for everything that you and your family have achieved. I know it get hard at times but there will be an end to the struggles and who cares about a bit of dust or in my case a lot of dust, and mess and toys blooming toys everywhere!

Thanks eva - how I EVER found time to train for a marathon as well, I will NEVER know! Good luck - 2 weeks  Keep taking the vit c for the cold, and don't run until you are better - you have done the hard work, so from now on as long as you get better, you will be fine.
Today brings about another house that I would def def def go and look at if I were debt free. It's not big or fancy, but has potential and is in my chosen "walk to work" location, and is at a reasonable price. Bah to debt, and all things associated with it.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Have a good weekend Hypno. Originating from East Anglia myself, I certainly noticed the difference when we moved up north a few years ago - the air is fresher and clearer, and less hot and humid in the summer. One life - your life - live it!0

Oi, you lot! Stop talking about us as though we are some sort of foreign species up here!
Also, I wish I could describe a house like that as 'not big or fancy', Hypno. A 2-bed flat of my own would be luxury for me! (I'm a young, naive non-property owner.)Please call me 'Pickle'

that house is nice but the rooms seem a bit small and they seem to have some odd furniture in some of them..... The grass needs greening too! I prefer it from the outside to the inside from those piccies.....
There have I made you feel better about not getting it?

Location, location, location, as far as that house is concerned......I will happily compromise on space to live there.
So, sorry - you've not put me off it :rotfl:
Pickle - I started off in a one bed starter home - not even a separate bedroom, more of a studio with a mezzanine floor for the bed. The only separate space was the bathroom. It has taken me years and much heartache to get where I am now, and I should have been a lot further down the line if Plan A had worked! (see first post of the last diary for the history!).

I think that house might be my fave so far. I really like it from the outside and it looks like it has some great potential. (I do like a project!) I quite like smaller rooms = less cleaning! And warm and cosy = energy cost effective!
I think I might be telling myself this to justify my 'cosy' 2 up 2 down! Well, 2¼ up really, there is a tiny bathroom! :rotfl:
Have a great weekend and best of luck to the Hypno offspringPround to be dealing with my debts! DFW Nerd # 1201
