Morning all - Monday morning ugh! I had earache during the night, so very little quality sleep (again).....hopefully painkillers will help keep it workable during the day, but if it gets horrific, I will have to admit defeat....early days, but tired, nonetheless.
Last night, my scratchcard that had almost £9 had to be taken down to £0 because I have had to order a new debit card, and benben tried to change her debit card with st miniver, and was closed down as a bonus abuser......so to try and avoid the same thing, I played all my current balance and then deposited another £10 (which I have since withdrawn again) but was then able to change my debit card, and play scratches again this morning.......and I won £5 - so although not back at my original balance, I hope it will mean I don't get any problems.....
Banking shows nothing - not unexpected as it is the last day of the month, but I have had a payslip for my teaching session I did last month, but no money is yet in the bank - one to keep an eye on.....
I hope you all have a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

On the online shopping front, our Asda have just had a redesign and their car park is now such a bad layout that I will definitely be doing my shopping online. Its either that or 2 in the morning.
Don't forget, if you do the Asda shopping online, then to go via Quidco as you get 1% cashback on all grocery shopping! :j:beer: Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -
Morning - its wet here and dark - sorry to hear about the earache Hypno - hope it clears up quickly.
Have done nearly all christmas shopping online via Quidco !!
Off to work soon - still haven;t plucked up courage to go swimming - its now 8 weeks since I last went.
Have a good day everyone0 -

Morning guys - everyone seems to be doing well on the Christmas prep front.....I'm not doing too badly, just a couple more things to get, but most of the wrapping and all of the cards to do (in fact, must buy cards as not enough left from last year).....I will do food shopping when I get back from my holiday, but have ordered the meat, so the main bit is done.
surfbabe, any idea when you might get back in the pool?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Well hopefully sometime before Christmas - I've found a pair of DS goggles he left here but I'm still worriedMy eyes were so so painful I don;t think I want to feel like that again. But I will just have to get on with it otherwise I will not win the race from Lands End to John O-Groats :rotfl::rotfl:

Yikes to the closing down of the scratchcards, and the still-flooded, and the bad back, AND the earache and bad sleep - I'm surprised anybody's done *anything* for Christmas. I have to say, I'm feeling particularly unexcited by Christmas this year - I'm going to try to work tomorrow, but there's still one session I'll have to delay and rebook, sadly. Tho I've just realised my early morning coughing fits, that make me feel really bad, are because the bedroom is cold in the morning, and once I get up and into a warm room, its much better. Doesn't help with the sleep tho. Ah well. Hope everyone's doing okay after their troubles.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
