I got my 1st dishwasher just short of a year ago... I love it! It makes it so much easier for me to cook from scratch - I seem to use 101 bowls / dishes / pans when cooking - now I can just throw them in the dishwasher! :j I got a slimline one (paid for with quidco / vouchers / £2 fund etc :j) as there is only me and it only runs once or twice a week. :T

Operation blitz my flat is underway this week here... I'm doing 20mins cleaning / decluttering / sorting and 20 mins break!  :rotfl: I'm off all week so my flat will be tidy and decluttered *insert stompy smilie*  :rotfl: I have a sneeking suspision I'll be hosting Xmas (my parents are supposed to be doing it but I've a feeling they wont...) so I need my flat sorted just in case. :p If not it'll be nice for me over Xmas! :rotfl:

Vouchers! I've had an idea...... no, I mustn't, I mustn't... I'm moving next year, what if my new house has a dishwasher already there???? I'm just going to suffer for the next few months. Such a martyr, me :D I'm almost up to 3000 points on ipoints, which I'd normally take as an Asda voucher or something - but I've noticed there's a holiday on there for 12,000..... I don't spend anything to get the points, so I could just keep going :D you're giving me ideas, taka! Thanks :j

I have always had a dishwasher.........I am so slovenly, that it is a bit of a necessity in my house......although I do sometimes wish that my children had grown up with the "wash, dry and put away" team work that we had as kids.........

I went for my run - found it tough, I am so unfit! But did just over three miles (I think - am deliberately leaving my garmin at home) although I had to walk little bits. It was trail running, so harder than on the roads, and some of it was very wet - not just puddles but floods that there was no option but to wade through, so wet feet.....nice......but the sun was out and it was lovely and quiet round the lake at that time of the morning, so it will have done me the world of good.

I've also dug out my old fave yoga dvd so am hoping to find time/space/little spot of calm to do at least 15 mins a day. I used to do 2 hours a day  but over the years it has become a sporadic thing rather than a regular thing, and of course if it is not done regularly, it won't have any benefit - phyisically or mentally.

Tesco shop has been delivered - compiled mainly of healthy stuff, but ben & jerries is on silly-offer......2 tubs of cookie dough ice cream for £3.....well, it would have been rude not to, wouldn't it

Shaun that sounds like a right load of stress! Thankfully your landlord has acted quickly - I hope everywhere dries out soon.

You guys are mad running in this....it's cold!

Shaun - hope you're drying out!

My dog walk got cut short when Stripes developed another limp! I took the old lady instead and she managed a nice half hour.

Oooh nearly forgot - £5 on BB so that's taken me up to £60/£120 of DSs trip!:T

Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday xx

ETA - 'old lady' is our elderly dog not my mother incase anyone is wondering! xx

Hey, mudders!! Half way there on the school trip fund - that is excellent....:D

Shaun, I don't envy you - we've had a couple of floods here - one in the kitchen and one when a pipe burst......I hated all the drying out/carpets up/etc
